The tripod is very steady and easy to adjust
The tripod is very steady and easy to adjust. I installed the camera plate on my camera and inserted them onto the camera ball head. It was steady and firm. However, I found that when I rotated the ball to shoot vertical I had a little trouble keeping the camera in place. I imagine the camera I was using may have been too heavy for the position. I need to work on it. Otherwise I am very satisfied so far.James Jung

Good, but not the best.
This is the plate that came with the tripod, which is okay if you don't intend to change either the mount onto multiple cameras, or take it off the camera in order to place it on a different tripod or mount, which I do frequently.It works well, but quick change requires either a coin, or a screw driver. I bought the linked mount which has an included arm to loosen and remove the screw from the camera. The price for this is far too high , don’t buy it.
I would definitely not buy this again the price is way too high, look elsewhere.

Didn’t fit the Q666
Lost the original piece, bought this one for a quick fix definitely did not fit. The camera was still loose. Ended up throwing this piece in a river. Been three months and haven’t been able to use my tripod.

The only thing I don't like is the screw fastens the plate to the camera
Fits my Zomei tripod perfectly. The only thing I don't like is the screw fastens the plate to the camera. The manufacturer plate has a cutout on the screw to allow tightening with a coin or screwdriver in addition to a D ring that you can use to hand tighten. This plate doesn't not have the cutout. It's just flat, so if the D ring breaks off, the plate will be basically useless and have to be thrown away. For this reason, it loses a star

Easy attach quick release plate
When I lost the original plate that came with my tripod, I ordered this one. This quick release plate is an improvement over the plate that came with my tripod in that they've added a built-in turn screw handle for tightening the camera on to the plate. Before you needed to have a coin or screw driver with you to tighten the plate. Now no extra tool is needed as the screw handle is built in and lies flat when not in use. The plate holds the camera firm to the tripod, and should the connection loosen with use, it's easy to tighten it again. I'm very happy with it.

The quality is spot on and the many configurations you get out of this thing are fantastic.
I purchased this tripod as a Christmas gift for my wife. She has been using a Manfrotto - 65" Compact tripod but lost one of the adjustment handles.I find myself wanting to use the Zomei every time I need a tripod. The quality is spot on and the many configurations you get out of this thing are fantastic.
