Arrived sufficiently well packaged, they appear to be almost identical to others at two and three times the price.It remains to be seen how well they perform in use. On the face of it they look to be a good value purchase.It would be good if they had the shot loadings for each size, but that’s not a big issue.

It's my own stupid fault for not reading the description fully.The image gives the impression they are self cocking floats and then add your split shot to get your final level.They are not, it is simply gold paint on the float and they also carry no reference to the amount of weight required to set the float right.Not a massive hardship to work out for the average angler but the inexperienced angler may not realise the problem if it's their first time out.As a simple float, they appear ok (I'll be testing them tomorrow) nothing fancy but I've never heard a fish complain about the quality of gear being used to catch it.It doesn't care if you have a £5 umbrella or a £900 bivvy or a £10 rod compared to a £1000 rod. They don't exactly swim along the river looking for the best quality gear and think 'oh wow, that blokes fishing with the dogs *ollock* of gear so I'm going to eat his bait'The fish only care about what's on the end of the hook, the fisher person cares about everything from the hook and beyond, it's not a fashion show though.
