This product works exactly as described. Was impressed by the metal frame and how well it fit vs the cheaper (quality) but higher priced plastic framed ones for sale. You will hear the silicone blades touching, but that's just the fact the blades are touching the bowl. No more stopping to scrape with a spatula.

The media could not be loaded.  I resisted getting this for a while, I kept telling my wife that it was unnecessary and that it was a gimmick. Boy was I wrong; the silicone blades at the end of the mixer make a huge difference and they do wipe off the sides of the bowl as they go by. Obviously because of the way the mixer rotates, it’s not done in one single wipe, but rather in small sequential wipes every time around, but for sure there is no longer a need to use a separate spatula to get everything off the edges mixed in. Hooray.

We love this bowl scraping paddle. Before buying this one we made the mistake of buying one directly from Kitchenaid which didn’t fit as advertised, was expensive, and we had to spend $26 to return it to Kitchenaid because Kitchenaid doesn’t provide free shipping on returns. Don’t make that costly mistake. Buy this one instead - it works like a charm!

If you have problems with the paddle that came with your Kitchen Aid mixer reaching the bottom of the bowl then purchase this paddle. It works great and mixes everything you put in your bowl. Love it. They should sell this paddle with their mixer and not the one that currently comes with it.

How did I go this long without this amazing tool for my Kitchenaid stand mixer?? Cleans the side of the bowl like nobody's business. Get one for your your Pro 600 but be aware that it only works for the model with the lift bowl mechanism. Well worth it!!

Very good for the price! It's plastic but very strong. I don't recommend for dough but excellent for buttercream, creams or soft things! I need a paddle attachment to get rid off air bubbles from my buttercream! Works wonderful for me.

The item doesn’t fit which is a huge disappointment since I purchased two of them for both our stand mixers. (We have 6 qt.) It gets stuck in this position (see photo) as it can’t make it all the way around the bowl. And will jam the mixer. First time I used it, it ruined the motor. I turned it off instantly, but now my one mixer rattles. Will not be purchasing again.

I bought this to replace one I had for years that broke.This one is metal. This one will not break. I'm very happy with this one
