Great Product, Exceeds Expectations
The media could not be loaded. I’m more than impressed with the clay bar and the solution. I’ve cleaned vehicles for many years but was always hesitant to use a clay bar. Man I’ve been missing out. This was easy to use, solution smelled good, Clay bar worked great and results are amazing. No more using tar removing chemicals and struggling with sap, Clay bar takes care of it all and leaves an amazing shine after a quick spray of wax. Enough to clay bar 3 vehicles which I think is great value for the money! As a first time user I’m impressed and it exceeded my expectations I would highly recommend this product!

Super Sticky!
The media could not be loaded. I put the Chemical Guys Heavy Duty Clay Bar and Luber Kit to the test while detailing the Audi S7, and I have to say—this stuff is seriously impressive. I’ve used the Chemical Guys OG Clay (Yellow) before, but this heavy-duty black clay takes things to another level.Right away, I noticed how much tackier this clay is compared to the yellow version. It really grabs onto contaminants in the paint and pulls them out with ease. I couldn’t find anything it couldn’t remove—even on areas where the OG clay would’ve struggled. This thing means business when it comes to decontamination. The included Luber synthetic clay lubricant worked flawlessly, keeping the clay bar floating smoothly across the surface without breaking down or sticking to the paint. However, this clay was so sticky that it kept trying to grab my gloves while I worked—definitely a sign of how aggressive it is.If you’re dealing with heavily contaminated paint or just want to ensure you’re getting every last bit of embedded grime out, this is the clay to go with. It’s definitely not a beginner-friendly clay bar due to how tacky it is, but if you know what you’re doing, it delivers results that are hard to beat.Would I use it again? Absolutely. It worked flawlessly on the S7, and I’ll be keeping it in my detailing arsenal for any paint that needs serious decontamination.

Excellent product that delivers great results
My car care experience started in the Rain Dance/Simoniz era of the 70s, where all you knew was hours of hard labor. Wax on wax off, rub rub rub, get another towel, check it again oh crud there's still more wax to remove, you know the drill. Fast forward to the modern era... I ventured into using clay bars about a decade ago, a spray detailer/clay bar kit from Mothers impulse buy at Walmart. I repurchased the same product a couple of times and though was happy with it I felt it was time to try something new.The reviews on this product were enough to tip me away from Mothers and the results are tremendously different. Application and usage is generally the same with all of these products. Mist an area, rub with light pressure back and forth. Microfiber towel dry. Smash the bar and flatten. Repeat.I could tell a *noticeable* difference in the feel of the car surface but I wasn't sure it was real or my imagination. I was planning to wax both cars so I did a quick test. I had some Mothers left over so I used that on the hood of one car and Chemical Guys on the other. Sure as heck it was different! The CG application felt smoother and more glossy. I did another test gently gliding a clean and dry microfiber towel across both surfaces. The Mothers surface glide did ok but had some resistance. The CG surface glide resulted in the towel sliding right off the hood and onto the floor! I'm sold!I use Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Spray Wax 2.0. I know... it's not ceramic but for me it's easy without the PTSD memories of the 70s. Just wipe a very thin layer on and let 'er dry. It worked great over the top of the CG clay bar application. Easy on and easy off. The results are amazing. Both cars just sparkle! The best part was that I did both cars (Outback and Forester) in about 4 hours, and most of that time was waiting for the wax to dry. And I'm not wiped out! With less labor and a reasonable time commitment, I find that I wax the cars more than once a year.Anyway... thanks for reading my review this far. So here's a little present for you... a dad car joke:What do you get when dinosaurs crash their cars?Tyrannosaurus wrecks.YUK YUKHave a blessed day!

Good product
It works pretty good. The butter wet says it will take off tree sap....it did not take mine off and the sap was not very old. 2 weeks max. The clay bar works well and does take out impurities. I like that part.I had to send the 1st kit back because it was used. That's a Amazon thing not a chemicals guys issue. There was dirt and hair in the clay bar and the bottles had been opened and used.I like chemical guys products and will continue to buy more.

Works well ! Good slimy clay lube for easy use
I use a lot of chemical guys products . I must admit that some are better than others . This clay bar and live kit works well for getting unseen impurities from my cars paint before a paint correction.

Works exceptionally well.
Worked just like the chemical guys video said. Just bought a used jeep and the previous owner didn’t take care of it. Roughness on the hood so I tried this kit on one half of hood per instructions from chemical guys YouTube and the results were outstanding. Smooth on side I used the clay on. Works fantastic!
