I wish I had seen this in an art shop before I ordered or I would not have bothered. The 'sketchbook' is basically 10 sheets of A4 paper folded in half with a piece of brown card on the outside. On half of the resulting A5 pages are outlines of animals (NOT including the fox on the exterior of the packaging), with a double-spread owl in the centre; the remaining pages are blank.The product images on this page are very misleading - the photo of the partially completed fox with pens scattered across the work surface is at least 4 times the actual size of any of the outlines in the 'sketchbook'. Also the "learn to draw with artist Iain McArthur" (Derwent can't even get his name right - it's MacArthur) amounts to little more than a couple of close-up pictures of the fox on the back of the box and, inside the sketchbook, a page of dots and lines that you can draw over.Save your money and just buy the pens.

I bought this for my 11 year old niece who loves being creative. Huge hit. Gave her enough of a guide to start the picture well then plenty of freedom to be creative. She has really enjoyed it.

Poor quality. The book is tiny and the outlines are not good quality. As they are inside the book they would also be impossible to draw in as much detail as they show.The Wolf image as shown on the cover isn't actually in the book. All in all very disappointed and the item is being sent back

I love this kit. I wish I could just buy the book separately as I already have the graphik pens. A fabulous range of animals.

This is perfect to do when you're high. I smoked up a bit, opened up the first page, and let my fingers work their magic. There's no right or wrong way of finishing a doodle, you just let your creativity do the work. I would recommend this product to anyone. You can open up a random page, doodle a bit, come back to it, try another one. The pens so far have not given me any problems and they seem to be quite good.
