Excellent for veneer plywoods and materials that splinter easily
These are great blades and my first go-to for any plywoods, coated melamine and other thin laminates or veneer plywoods. They most often leave a much cleaner cut in thin materials (1/4" and thinner) than the downcut/reverse tooth blades do because of the tooth design here. They're bimetal blades, not plain high carbon steel, so the high speed steel teeth start out sharper and tend to stay that way longer if you aren't totally abusing the saw. These have been my favorites for over 30 years now back when I bought the same cut under the Porter Cable label, and the current Diablo are also the same thing. They are fleam ground to provide kerf relief and the teeth have the same point/grind style that you see in good hand saws. Really works a treat to cut baltic/finnish birch plywoods with zero to minimal splintering top or bottom, and sails through cheap veneer appearance plywoods. Works on regular lumber and MDF of course but better to choose different blades there, imho. They also work great in many plastics and composites although heat buildup is an issue (kerf welding) and phenolics or glass composites will wear them out quickly (they're not very good for lexan/plexiglass...nice cut but the kerf welding can't be avoided with this blade design...great for poly and ABS, delrin, etc). The scroll blade is great and the wider "laminate" blade is better for straight cuts (it's also just slightly thicker for resistance to wander/flex, but not as thick as fast cut wood construction blades).I think the same factory in Switzerland must make these for everyone (Bosch, Diablo, old Lenox, Porter Cable, Festool, etc). They appear to be the same high quality as they always have been. If you want only the scroll blade in bimetal it looks like you'll have to find that under the Diablo label in a 5-pack. The wider laminate blades in this pack are nice to have and it's a cheap price for the pack.

good for flooring
flooring: so far these are the best for cutting laminate i can find. i even used the worn down blades on vinyl for quite a few rips on the next job. ive tried a few top brand names: bosch seems to out perform diablo dewalt and the carbon. just my opinion but ive doing floors for awhile. give them a try. theyre probably better than what youre using now.

Great for countertop cutting
We used these to cut out the sink hole, in a countertop. Worked great.

Work Great for Laminate - but their is still a trick to it
I want to keep this easy and short. I used a jig saw to cut some of the curves and details in to my new laminate flooring. My standard, fine wood cutting blades wore dull quickly on the laminate and the started to chip the surface. These blades are like a hot knife through butter...but there is a catch...If you rush the saw/blade - you will chip the surface, no mater what blade you use! The lesson I learn - nearly half way through the project, was to make my mark on the back of the flooring board and cut at about half speed (the force moving the saw forward - not the speed of the blade moving up and down). I did find a cleaner cut when I did increase the vertical blade speed (adjustable speed jig saw). I love these blades - cut a lot of boards and they still aren't dull - worth the money.

Perfect for cutting laminate that is 5mm with a pad
I love those guys that can score a laminate panel and snap it! I can’t! So that’s why I purchased this set of blades for my jigsaw! Worked great and the kerf wasn’t a quarter inch wide. Measure twice cut once!

Cut wuy
I thought I would try these blades in my Jig Saw, and I was very pleased with the cut quality, I was laying laminate flooring and wanted something that would give you a sharp clean cut, I also liked how long the blades would last

Cuts Laminate without damaging it
Installing a laminate countertop and needed to trim the back to fit a warp in the wall. This cut nearly flawlessly. Blades are brittle, etc but that doesn't matter at all because you buy these for the quality of the cut. They do work as advertised in my experience.

Dulls quickly
I used these on vinyl plank flooring. These started nice and sharp, but dulled quickly. I actually ground the teeth off of all 3 using the blade to trim and cut vinyl flooring around door molding and some rip cuts.
