Fabric great, size not great for use as BURP PAD
First off, I bought these for use as BURP PADS, not diapers. I love the fabric, the natural cotton color works perfectly for breast milk or formula, and it's nice and thick and really absorbent. It is sewn very well, very sturdy. We've washed them probably 20 or so times now and they are holding up just fine.My only issue is the size. I have the size small diapers, so approximately 9"x11" and they are a little too wide and not long enough for use as a burping pad. And the larger size would just be way too wide. I'm 5'2" and my husband is 6'2", for reference. These fall off of our shoulders all the time when we try to use them as burp pads but I still like to use them when breast feeding or bottle feeding to clean the dribbles, drool or sprays of milk. We just don't use these for when we go out since they always end up on the ground. We splurge and get the Aden & Anais burp clothes for going out.One thing to note is that the recommendation is to wash these a few times before use, I think to get them to be more absorbent. So if you are nesting and doing loads of laundry like I was, start with these guys since you'll have to wash it a few times! And the middle section is a double layer of fabric so it takes longer to dry than most other laundry items so I end up hang drying them for the remainder of the time since I don't like having over-dried, crispy laundry.

Super absorbent but super bulky
I bought these because the price was unbelievable. They are awesome diapers however the only downfall for me is that they are way too bulky for my skinny newborn. She is pretty tiny and when I use these with a cover the bulkiness makes it a bit difficult when she's lying down. The thickness also makes them a bit difficult to use with a snappy (they seem a little too small even for a newborn) so I just use them as inserts in the covers. They are super absorbent though and I've never had a problem holding in the newborn poo. She's also a pretty heavy wetter and haven't had a leak yet. I'm looking for something a bit less bulky for now until she gets a little bigger and I'll use these as inserts for her covers. They do take a while to dry but I find if they're still not dry after being on the clothesline for a while then a few extra minutes in the dryer will take care of that.

Good for their price
These prefolds were nice as a part of my cloth diapering routine. My friend let me use her used Bummis prefolds as well, so I could have a few more. Using the two different brands side-by-side made the Bumkins look inferior. I know that the Bummis are organic cotton, but my Bumkins prefolds were starting to get pills after about a month of use, whereas her already used Bummis were not. I ended up buying Bummis for my next size up prefolds. I didn't hate the Bumkins though, they were great for their price.

Super thick and absorbent!
When I had my first boy a few years back, I had a great set of something similar from Gerber and I used them as burp cloths. I actually mostly used them to prevent leakage while nursing - I produce a lot of milk, and whenever the baby would pull off, I would just keep going. If I didn't have a cloth, it would get everywhere. :-( When I had my second child, I couldn't find the same quality from Gerber - their cloths were SUPER skinny and just not absorbent at all. I was ECSTATIC to get these in the mail, because they are SUPER absorbent and GREAT quality. Will be ordering more, for sure. Perfect as burp cloths or to soak up any mess! Highly recommended!

Great absorbency but kinda rough on sensitive skin
I got these to use as burp cloths and they work wonderfully. They have great absorbency. There are two things to note. (1) They shrink a lot and (2) If your baby has sensitive skin like mine, the texture of this cloth is a bit rough. I usually lay a thinner or softer burp cloth on top of it when burping him because my baby rubs his face on the burp cloth a lot. Just something to consider...

Shrinks a little more than expected
We bought these at the same time as the OsoCozy prefolds, just to compare. The absorption is the same. They are both very good at holding pee & breast milk poop. But my husband doesn't like the Bumkins because these prefolds (same size as the other brand) shrank to be slightly smaller, making diapering a bit of a challenge. Also, I'd prefer these prefolds without the Bumkins tag, though easy to keep off the baby's skin by way of folding the top over a little.

Use these for burp cloths
I use half a dozen of these as burp cloths and they are fantastic! A little bit longer would have been good (I might not have the largest size; not sure). My son was a real spitter and the little thin flimsy burp cloths were basically only good for decoration. Pre-folds are the way to go. These wash very well and I stick them in the dryer too.

Shrank and VERY wrinkled
Bayby isn't here yet. I was just washing for first time. Bought these in hopes I could use them as burp cloths and under the baby when changing on changing pad. These shrank significantly, look dirty, and are terribly wrinkled. I will need to use two to cover the area even for a new born. I would be embarrassed to use them in public. The also didn't get very soft in the wash.Disappointed....

Simple is good
These got me through the beginning stages of cloth diapering as a single mother on a really tight budget, and for that alone, I love them.My baby was a preemie so they didn't fit right away. but they probably started fitting around the 8 pound mark, and I used them until he outgrew them at around 15 pounds before making the switch to pockets. These were used for about a year with no problems. Washed on heavy duty cycles with conventional detergent. They remained soft and absorbent for as long as I used them. They were then passed along for another baby to use, still in beautiful condition.I would recommend these to anyone on a tight budget, but also to anyone that wants a simple cloth diaper solution. There's no need to worry about your waterproof fabrics, they can be bleached without worrying, and they handle a lot.

Baby diapers rock!
You won't use these a ton, or at least I haven't. But I like to have the smaller size as well as the premium because 1. I like kids with smaller bums. 2. They fit in to clothes a little better (most clothes are designed for disposable diapers or my kids are really long ;) ). I cannot remember when the other two started transitioning out of these diapers. I do know my 4 month old is ready to transition to a large size. But these will have gone through at least 2 kids and show no signs of wear and tear (other than maybe stains I haven't gotten out yet because it is not quite spring here and I haven't gotten them out in the sun lately). As far as keeping the pee in. They do their job. They may last 2-3 hours.

No diaper rash
I have been using these diapers for 3 mos now and they have lived up to my expectations. I use them with Thirsties covers and rarely have blowouts. When sunned for at least 20 min on each side they look brand new again. Wash 5 times before using as recommended to ensure full absorbency!
