I received this cabinet packed really well and in excellent condition. While it is quite pricey compared to other stereo cabinets, I have found it worth the money for me. The space inside is good as it holds some CDs on the top shelf (or stereo accessories), a head unit on the second shelf, a multi-CD player on the third, the lid for my turntable (when in use) on the fourth shelf and most of my vinyl lps on the bottom. In addition the top is perfect for my turntable, both in size and in standing height. I particularly like the access panels on the back which make the wiring incredible easy to work with. And the front door is full size with open spaces for cooling the equipment.I am very pleased with this cabinet and would highly recommend it.

I saw this cabinet first when I decided to replace an ramshackle bookshelf that I was using to house my stereo, amp, AppleTV, PlayStation, and NetGear router. Given the high price, I looked at a ton of other options but I came back to this one. Glad I did. Assembly was easy to do by myself. You need only bolt together a bracket for the wheels/feet, and then attach that to the bottom of the cabinet with 9 screws.You can change the direction of the door, but I did not. So there was really nothing else to do but configure the shelves. Screw in pins hold the shelves firmly in place. The back panel comes off for routing, and then hiding, wires. The tempered glass top sits (unattached) on rubber feet on the top. Seems fine though. There is a special compartment up top for your power strip to hide inside.Everything is extremely well made. Everything sits squarely and securely. Door has a strong magnetic latch.There seems to be plenty of air ventilation, and I will need up with an extra empty shelf and another unused shelf that I am storing just in case. There are 2 fixed shelves. One at the top, which is made for holding CDs. Not that practical anymore, but I put a few CDs there for now. I still find it hard to throw them away. The other fixed shelf is about 1/3 from the bottom. I figure that is there for structural rigidity. The rest is highly configurable.Absolutely no issues using remote controls for all my devices when the door is closed. Luckily, I can read my amp settings through the slat when seated in my favorite chair. Additionally, I got no signal loss from putting my NetGear Orbi wifi Router inside. So that was a relief.This cabinet is strong and heavy. Definely heirloom quality. No cheap fiberboard or cardboard panels even on the back. Very sturdy and level. Able to hold a Giganantosaurus. Love the quality and look of this… it came almost completely assembled… about 30-45 mins to unbox and set up.Quick note on my confirmation inside… I wanted 2 shelves for lps but also need Rome for my reciever and amp. I was able to disassemble and remove the top internal shelf… so my internal setup is due to a mod… to be honest this HIGHLY configurable so likely it will meet your needs without modding

Beautiful wood, easy to assemble and very solid. These are "for a life time" units. And the design solved all of our challenges with hiding audio equipment with proper ventilation. Worth the price!

Some minor damage in the door.

Besides the unit being great, I have to say the customer service was better. There were some issues with the unit, but the speed and quality of their service and desire to fix things was absolutely amazing.
