Works after file fitting.
Didn’t directly fit oil pump shaft. Had to file fit receiver end to rotate oil pump. Once it seats on the oil pump shaft everything works as designed. Gets the job done at a decent price.

Be Warned-Fits Tight
This did not cost a lot and it worked. But, its a very tight fit on a new Melling intermediate shaft. Initially I didn't think it was going to seat enough to turn the pump, it just spun on top of the shaft without turning it.I finally got it to seat with enough purchase that it spun everything and primed the new pump. Then I needed to put a vicegrip on it and wiggle and pull for a while to get it out. I was kicking myself for not dry fitting everything before install. That way I would have known what I was in for and wouldn't have been as concerned, fearing that I had perhaps developed some new additional "mystery problem". I never expected it to fit that tight.

Situation normal “China Syndrome”
Well I knocked the roll pin out and thinned down the metric blade to a thickness comparable with the Chevy intermediate shaft. Now it fits a small or big block Chevy engine! Deceptive and down right wrong statements from these companies have become the norm. What are the options? Send it back to china? I had made a priming shaft but decided to get one that would channel oil to the main gallery with added volume. The aluminum bushing that mimics the distributor shaft, might direct the oil as the distributor does, but who knows if I is the right diameter to do so. It might be Chinese dimensioned like the blade. For a individual expecting this to work right out of the box, it will be a disappointment.
