Universal 3 Digit Combination Trigger Gun Lock

simple, inexpensive, does the job.

Fit on my XD Mod 2, had to mount the combo dials on the right. On my 1911, I had to position the combo dials on the left. Like the other review, make sure you press both ends together firmly. To the review about some cheap Chinese knock off, well isn't everything made in China, you get what you pay for.

It’s a good solid lock, and easy to use. While it’s easy to use, it’s not fast to use. Great for security or to keep unwanted people from being able to discharge a weapon, accidentally or otherwise, but not something you’d want on a home defense gun, which you may need to access quickly, under stress. It’s just a bit bulky, and the latch is heavy to pull.

This lock does the job, as it pertains to locking the trigger. However, the overall quality of this lock is questionable. It really does feel much cheaper and lighter than other similar locks I currently own. For the price, not bad, but it's function is not as smooth as it should be.
