Works wonders for old wooden drawers!
This tape worked wonders! It's nice and thick so I'm hopeful that it will last a long time. It was easy to apply and stuck to all the different kinds of wood drawers I needed to fix. They're quieter and they slide great now even being so old and without track hardware.

Instant fix for wood kitchen cabinets
My kitchen has the original 1950s wood cabinets. The drawers have wood runners, which were generating sawdust every time I opened them. I was so bad that I had to rewash anything I pulled from the cabinets below the drawers because it was covered with sawdust. I found an article about using polyethylene film tape on wood furniture and decided to try it on the cabinets. I vacuumed out the sawdust, washed the drawers and cabinets and applied the tape to the drawer underside and the area where the drawer runs in the cabinet. The tape applied easily and instantly fixed the problem. The drawers run smoothly and there is no more sawdust! It has been about a month and the tape is still working perfectly. I wish I would have found this tape years ago.

Horrible
The tape is filled with numerous mini circles all throughout the tape, so much for being translucent. It's not air bubbles either, it's a flaw with their tapes now a days.

Slicker than (insert Southern US expletive metaphor here)
This tape is exactly what I was hoping for, mostly. I got it to apply to the bottom of a computer mouse to help it glide across the mousepad more smoothly. And it does exactly that.My issues are: getting the backing off is a titanic labor of love. Seriously, took me about 20 minutes to get 4 small 1 cm or so squares. Why couldn't they do that thing where the backing is essentially cut down the middle and all you have to do to remove the backing in the middle is to bend the tape in half? Since I cut these in roughly square, the corners of the tape are tearing up the mouse pad a bit. That doesn't affect my review (they lost a star for that backing issue) but I'd love to see some small circles of this material, because it otherwise works AMAZINGLY WELL, once you get the backing off.

This tape is the best thing since sliced bread was invented.
This tape was extremely easy to use, and it was very effective at replacing the worn feet on my computer's mouse. It is much more cost effective than throwing away the perfectly good computer mouse just because the mouse's feet have become worn away.Just clean and degrease the mouse's feet, peel off a length of tape, and then apply the tape to the mouse's feet, pressing down firmly on the tape to help the tape bond onto your mouse's feet. The tape has no backing that you have to peel off before you stick the tape onto whatever you want to apply the tape to. Just make sure that you thoroughly clean and degrease the surface that you want to stick the tape to.The tape is thin and easy to trim if you feel the need to trim it after you apply the tape to a surface. I did not trim the tape after I applied the tape to my mouse's worn feet. I allowed the tape to overlap my mouse's feet after I applied it, because I feel that allowing the tape to overlap will increase the wear life of the mouse's feet.I even let the tape that I applied to the rear of my mouse overlap the mouse's battery door on purpose, because the tape roll is so big that when I do need to replace the mouses batteries, all that I will have to do to replace the batteries is to peel off the old tape, replace the batteries, and then re-apply new tape to the rear of the mouse's feet after I am done. The tape is thin and semi transparent, so it will not be easy to spot the tape on a surface that you have applied it to.The tape is sort of cloudy, just like scotch tape is, so the semi transparency allows the tape to blend in well with the background where it is applied to.At first, I was very wary of how thin the tape actually was, because it is about the thickness of three or four layers of scotch tape, but this thinness actually make the tape more flexible, so it will conform to the surfaces that it is applied to.The tape is also very tough and wear resistant. I have used this tape at work, on machines, to line wear surfaces to reduce friction and sliding wear, so I know that this tape is very tough and wear resistant.Just avoid the temptation to apply oil onto the surface of the tape to try and further reduce friction, because this will only cause the tape to wear faster and it will also attract dirt onto the tapes surface, which will make it wear out even faster and cause the tape to become soft and gooey, which will cause the tape to fail quickly.

Pleasantly surprised how well it worked on old drawers
I used this tape on some really old kitchen drawers that didn't have modern rollers--they just slide wood-on-wood. And let me tell you, it was a pita to pull these drawers out with all the friction. I was skeptical about whether this stuff would adhere. I didn't need to be! After a little trial and error, I decided it works best to put a strip on the bottom of the drawer vs the runner in the cabinet. Anyhow, it's sticking like a champ and the drawers are MUCH easier to open and close.

Purchased this to give "new life" to repurposed dresser drawers
Decided to try this on some old second hand dressers I got for super cheap so I could do a refurb.Drawers on old dressers and night stands typically do not glide very well.Once I got them painted I put this cut, peel and stick poly tape on the runners (which were all wood sliding on wood) and they open and close very nicely. So it was a worthwhile and reasonably priced "science experiment" that worked.

Great for wood drawers!
Works great as liner for wood drawers in an old desk. Prevents wear and makes the drawers glide smoothly! The tape is probably a couple times thicker than thick packing tape and is VERY sticky. I'm going to use it in our dresser drawers next.

Unstick your sticky drawers!
Bought this for an unrelated project that didn't pan out, so I used the tape to fix some sticky wood drawers instead. Worked like a charm! Now my drawers slide in and out with ease. Quiet too!

Pretty easy to apply
Used it on wooden Drawer which was getting really hard to pull out and push back in. As long as you make sure there is no dust it adheres well. Working OK so far.
