Simple, fun, speed game!
Note that this is a speed game. I only say this because I have two kids; one likes speed games and one will never play them because she gets stressed out. If you have a kid like my second, pass on this one.Extremely simple card game with added memory element. To set up: all cards are spread out in the middle of the table. To play: On the count of three all players begin at the same time. They pick up one card at a time, and only play with one hand. They look at the card and decide if they want to add it to their pile. If yes, it’s placed on top of their stack. If no, the card is put back in the mess of cards in the middle. Play continues until all cards are taken.A card can be added if it is not the same color or character as the previous card. This is the memory part. You need to remember the color and character of the last card you put facedown on your pile, and cannot peek to remember.Play continues until all cards in the middle are gone. At that time, all players lay out their cards, in the order they were collected. The player with the longest sequence of cards that have no duplicate characters or colors next to each other wins. It’s a super simple game but in the frenzy of trying to collect cards, you constantly forget what the last card on your pile is. Games take about 2 minutes to play.We had a lot of fun with this one. It’s small and can be thrown in a purse or bag to bring along anywhere. Lots of cards and they seem to be good quality.
