after looking about for a decent cheese / food grater, i didnt want to go for a cheap rotary one as these tend to fall apart having to use brute force to get them to work. see this one and thought it looks a much better design especially as it has a sucker to attach to your work surface.It really does not disappoint. the sucker holds the unit down very well. which gives much better cutting power.I grated cheddar cheese which turned out nice and evenly cut.The best food it grated well was a block of hard parmesan cheese. it made light of that job!no more knuckle grinding on a manual grater!i am yet to use it to make cauliflower rice but it will defiantly do a good job!i would very much recommend this over many other graters as it also has slicing blades for things like courgette, carrot and cucumber

My only real complaint is that the opening where the cheese comes out isn't higher up. That means you have to put quite a low bowl underneath to catch it. This probably will not be a problem for anyone doing small amounts, but if you're cooking larger amounts it is something to be aware of.

Used for for lots of food preparation tasks that used to be difficult, but using this gadget they are easy. And it is easy to clean.

I grated a block of cheese in about 30 seconds. I didn't have to worry about hurting my fingers. The base locked to the counter so I didn't have to worry about it slipping. This even managed to grate some sliced cheese I had cut up and stacked into small cubes. Amazing. I highly recommend this product.

Fantastic product, easy to assemble and clean, takes a little effort to crank it for grating but I find this much easier than using a regular grater

Just received and tried with carrots straight away! Seconds, and my carrot is shredded! I was refusing to make shredded salads which I love extremely due to me hating grating the veggies via conventional grater. This small handy shredder is a gem for salad lovers like me. Also, it will speed up grating veggies for my beetroot borsch which I normally make a huge pot. It is so easy to assemble, so easy a quick to clean under running water, which adds value. So much money I wasted buying stuff which was not used due to not really making a significant difference to me in easing and speeding up cooking. I have got two types of grater plus conventional, and not using them as one of them rather work for if you need to prepare a bulk of salads, or another one is just protecting your fingers from being damaged, which is not good enough as has limited value. This small gadget does not require electricity which will be handy for those who say live in summer houses or caravans, but also reduce your dependency on electricity. It not not stick to table surface initially until I figured out that there is a locker to be moved to fix it! And it is such big plus that it has such a small size unlike other similar appliances which require quite a space. Thinking to buy this for my mother now!
