Seem just as good as OEM
I’m happy with my purchase of these Indian Scout passenger pegs. They seem sturdy and of good quality. After install I rode with them, stood on them with my full weight (205 lb), used them to mount and dismount the bike, and had zero issues or wiggle. They felt perfect. My wife, who weighs far less than me, should have no issues with them.A few things to know:- Unlike the OEM, the pegs themselves do not come attached to the mounting brackets. The pegs easily go onto the brackets (with some muscle) but the connecting pieces are held in place by a snap ring. Do yourself a favor and have a pair of snap ring pliers handy. It takes two minutes to put both pegs on brackets with snap rings if you have decent snap ring pliers.- They seem to mount to the bike just like OEM pegs with two screws on each side. No issues except getting one of the screws on the exhaust side tightened. It’s blocked by the exhaust. It took some effort and creativity to tighten, but that’s not the fault of the pegs. Just be ready for that fun part.- My only complaint overall is that the heel heat guard (I got the version that has that extra piece that mirrors the OEM exhaust side peg) screws were easy to overtighten. That is partially my fault for trying to get it super tight, but something to note. Now one of the two screws for the heat guard is actually a little loose because I tightened it to the point of driving all the way through the thread it seats into. Not sure if the OEM heat guard is the same. In the end the heel guard is still very secure and doesn’t impact use of the peg, so not a big deal. All in all I think these were well worth it. Are the OEM pegs better? Maybe, but not by much. Plus they are more expensive and much harder to find. I’ve been waiting almost a month to be notified of a restock of the black OEM passenger pegs unless I want to drive an hour to the second closest Indian dealership (my local one is out); these aftermarket pegs came in just a few days. But definitely get yourself snap ring pliers if you don’t already have them, they are not expensive.

You get what you pay for.
One of the threaded holes that the exhaust bracket bolts into stripped out. Not over tightened or cross threaded just very soft material alloy so be very careful. Also there was no circlips/ retainers for the footpegs pins, they are under tension so hopefully don’t fall out before I can get hold of some. There is an indentation around the head of the pin so I’m assuming there is supposed to be one to stop the pin working its way loose.

Nice!!
For a hundred dollars cheaper and a little bit of work, I'd highly recommend these. I can't imagine the OEM ones being any better. I believe I read that some folks didn't know what the black nylon spacer was for (see pictures) but I'd say they're key especially allowing you to fold the pegs up and that they stay up. Yes, it takes some force to get the retaining, swivel pin in, but with some patience and pressure you'll get them in. I'd highly recommend these. I'm sure as with the OEM's, they also are a bit tight getting the screws in with the pipes there but it again just takes a little bit of time. I did use a bit if blue lock tight as with any integral part. Get them, you won't be sorry.

Fit perfectly
Perfect fit on 2021 Indian Scout ABS model. Use a thread locker when installing. Very easy install.

Did not come with instructions
If your mechanically inclined, it is not hard to figure out eventually. It's annoying to waste time figuring it out when simple instructions would have helped. When installed, foot pegs have alot of play. Not as tight as OEM pegs.

If I could give it a 0 it would be
This is the second one that I ordered of these each with issues some the same some different, I’ll list them.1st order; the hole in the mount was not large enough for the pin to be inserted to hold the peg so I had to drill it out myself. Then the bolt that holds the heat shield broke off in the mount as I was trying to attach it.2nd order I had the same issues with the bolt breaking off before the heat shield was tight to the mount. And then I was missing an entire pin that holds the peg.

Not good construction, start to bend under a 130lb girl's weight.
The hardware is junk. The heads wanted to round out, very soft. Threads not clean cut. GF's weight was enough to make the pegs flex down. Not at all good. Quality, was bad. I removed these and waited for OEM ones to become available.
