My nephew loved it. I don't know if it really ran over 30mph, but it was more than fast enough. We played with it in my parents 2 acre yard. The truck ran for about 15min on a charge. This was longer than I expected.My only concern was the small cotter pins that hold the body to the truck. I'm sure these will get last. I'd encourage the manufacturer to think of something different in the next revision.Bonus points for including spare parts and pins!

My daughter received this today for Christmas and was in love. While outside playing, the controller stopped responding and the rc truck ran into a wall and broke the front wheel off. I am very unhappy that the controller would mess up the first day we opened it and that the truck broke so easily due to the controller malfunction.

This car is so much fun! I was blown away by how fast it is. I expected performance more akin to the usual upper level toy grade RC cars from toy stores. But this thing performs like the proper RC hobby grade cars. It accelerates like a monster and the steering (which can be calibrated remotely) is super smooth. The transmission range is about on par with the claimed 80m but only in direct line of sight with no obstacles around. I soldered a little 3 inch piece of stiff wire onto the end of the car's antenna to get a little more range and I'm really happy with it.For me the stock battery lasts about 15 minutes with mixed driving. If I drive it like a maniac the time is reduced to around 8-10 minutes. I drive mine without the body on so there's much less drag and that improves my battery life. And now I use my own 5,000AH 2S lipo with it for huge run times of over an hour. But this will be overkill for most people.Something to be careful with: The motor tends to start heating up after 10 minutes or so. Keep an eye on the temperature as it can melt if it gets too hot. I let mine cool for 5 or 10 minutes every 15 minutes or so, especially on hot days. Other people have burnt out their motors by running them for too long without sufficient cooling breaks.I'm really glad I bought this and if I wreck mine I would buy another in a heartbeat!

Bad product. Lasted 3 battery and servo gone crazy..Sealed everything with liquid tape and drove on a 5cm puddle and it died.Friend scx10 gone in same hole with water resistant stuff..Except that issue the truck was nice and faast.Edit ordered a servo online from a website for 8$ cad. It now working fine!

Great truck for the price. I bought this for my truck obsessed son, and it hasn't disappointed! Very quick truck. It has spent a lot of time on it's roof, and aside from a few scratches, it is still in great shape.

The item Description at time of purchase says that this remote control truck is a 4WD and it's only 2wd I'm pissed. And now all the sudden the description changes... Only reason it got one star is I couldn't write a review without clicking a star....

works great. parts break easy and takes couple weeks to get spare parts but all good.
