This handy knife block holds different sizes and knives don't have to be a perfect fit. It takes up a small amount of space and keeps those miscellaneous knives in an organized and safe manner. Nice quality, compact and well made. Very pleased with the purchase.

In-drawer knife blocks are a good way to organize your kitchen knives, without a big, wooden block on the counter. They protect the knife edges, and reduce the risk of cuts.Unlike the counter-top versions, the knife edges rest on 2 to 5, small diameter dowel rods that hold the sections together (not the large, bamboo blocks).I ordered the 9-knife version: 5 sections that hold 4 larger knives and 5 smaller knives. It works. It supports and organized the knives, and fits in our conventional kitchen drawer.But the wood has a rough feel to it along all the curves, and sharp edges at each of the knife slots. I will have to sand these smooth, and then reseal the wood.This would have taken just a few seconds more at the factory, before the sections were glued together.

My husband said we should have had this 15 years ago. He loves it. Keeps knives organized and off counter. It’s held up great. Good quality.

Wish there was an extra support beam on the bottom. For heavier and longer knives, if you randomly slide it in, you might end up denting the tip of knife or damaging your counter because the knife will slip through. I placed drawer liner underneath it to prevent cutting into the counter.

Fits perfectly in the small drawers in our trailer drawers. Knives nest nicely in the slot and I feel safer with them in there. Definitely recommend.
