Pleasantly Surprised!
I’m very happy that I went with this Kodak Mini 2 Retro photo printer instead of any of the others. I spent hours researching all the different brands of these little fellas, watching videos, reading tons of reviews, etc… I purchased this printer to take on our cross country road trip & cruise from Los Angeles to print out pics along the way for our travel journal. Of course, price was also a factor as I couldn’t see spending a huge amount for something that I wouldn’t use on a daily basis & only on our travels which equates to about 4-5 times a year. One of the main differences with this one vs some of the others is that it’s not a “sticker”… which is happily okay about as I have double sided sticky tape that easily fits into my bag. I will admit that getting it on sale for $85 & that it came with the 3 cartridges that totals 68 photos also helped in my decision to buy this one. I also looked at the price of replacement film cartridges for in the future & how much each photo would end up costing. (Replacement cartridges were just under $18 for a total of 60 photos… two cartridges of 30.) This Kodak Mini 2 Retro ultimately ticked all the boxes - economical replacement cartridges, photo quality & overall price. The app was easy to add & connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone 15 Plus. Upon trying it out, print speed took less than a minute for it to print out. And as you see, the photo of my husband’s cat “Bowie” printed out quite beautifully! I wasn’t expecting a professional photo by any means but it turned out much better than I expected!! The picture quality is really quite good! The app also allows you to add a border (as I did in my photo) as well as adjusting colors & do some editing. I did absolutely nothing to this photo as I just wanted to print out a basic photo to check it’s overall photo quality. (I am “technically challenged”.😄 Which is another reason why I wanted something easy/simple.) The size of the printer is also nicely compact & will fit in my small carry-on bag. It came with the cord that you need to charge it but not the block… which is fine as I have a drawer full of those things. I would definitely recommend this photo printer… whether you want it for scrapbooking, photo journaling or just to print out photos on the spot to share. I am very happy with this little photo printer.

Perfect as advetised.
The print quality is perfect. The colors are almost as sharp as the original picture. The set up only took 1 full minute and I have been printing like mad. The only complaint is that it doesn't come with a charging cord.

Customer support
Initially I would’ve said this is the worst home printer I ever spent money on. Turns out I got a defective printer and it wasn’t supposed to be so hard. I reached out to Kodak customer support with photos of how dysfunctional the printer was and they quickly emailed me back with a shipping label to return it for a new one. The new one came in the mail today and within minutes I had 10 photos printed out in perfect condition without a single issue. They even sent me replacement film which made me happy because I wasted so many cartridges trying to get the old printer to work. So so happy with Kodak customer support and Amazon for shipping a new one out fast. Thank you!

arrived damaged
I got my set and left it to open when I would use it (hey adhd add to cart dopamine) I went to open it today to print some pictures out for a scrapbook and the cartridge inside the printer was ripped (like the clear film that is supposed to rotate according to youtube videos.) I havent been able to use it because it seems there is plastic film stuck inside it (originating from the broken cartridge, so i cant put in one of the others yet or i risk damaging another)I havent returned it because a) I waited a while to open it but b) I'm hoping to figure out how to clean it so I can use it.in theory it should be a useful little tool and ive seen other people live theirs maybe mine was just defectiveI will update if I get it to work

Good Photo Printer
Despite its small size, this printer prints excellent quality photos. However, it has two significant downsides: it needs constant charging and only has 10 photo paper per cartridge.

Not bad, but has some little issues
This is a great little printer! The only problem is that the last prints come out too dark which indicates that the cartridge is almost empty. When you near the last 3-4 prints on this thing it basically doesn't print the last polaroid's and you're left with a couple of wasted pieces. Which is a bummer for something so expensive.Delivery was also very late, it took me approx. 2 weeks to get it and that's only after you order it you can see when you actually get it delivered. And right after that I saw it was on sale. There are also small lines on the prints and the polaroid moves a little when going through the by-pass procedure, but if you don't really mind that, it's fine.Overall, not bad cause it's cute and pocket size and it can really capture the moment. But not too keen about wasting paper and the bleeding on the prints. the only reason I give it 4 stars is that it's actually a polaroid and not one of those sticky paper things which i got in the past.
