Sofia the First: The Floating Palace

My daughter reads it EVERY night! She absolutly loves mermaids and Sofia the first. The illustrasions are very nice and it’s an ok recap of the original 2 episode story. I may have to buy another one, as she has almost worn it out already.

If your child is obsessed with Sofia the first and the mermaid episodes, this book is perfect. It is medium length and the pictures and colors are vivid and attractive.

I bought this for my next door neighbor's little girl and she loves it! I chose it because my 6 year old granddaughter has it and it's her favorite.

When I saw that this book is also going to be a movie the writing style made a lot more sense. I love the illustrations and the story has potential, but it feels a bit choppy as you read it. And kind of like you are reading a shortened version of the story.... My 2 year old still likes it but I wonder how much lasting appeal it will have.

My 2 year old loves this book! This is her favorite episode of Sofia, so it's nice to incorporate it to our night time routine. The illustrations are beautiful!

My son loves Sofia and this nice large storybook is great for bedtime stories. Also it goes along with one of the episodes that was already made so, it was nice for him to add to the story while we were reading.

Anything Sofia is a winner in our house, but this is especially well loved because she turns into a mermaid! The illustrations are just lovely and the story is sweet.

way better story in book form than the show -- avoid the tv show if you can. the book avoids some of the gender stereotypes and materialist tone of the show.

My granddaughter really loves Sofia and the stories from enchantia so this book couldn't have been any more perfect for her
