So take some duct tape, wrap a dry erase marker with the sticky side out (facing you) a few times around, for about 2/3 the length. Then, wrap the marker with the duct tape sticky side down until it's thick enough to jam into the base of the start. Gently pull the marker out and place onto the tree spindle. There you go! Aren't you handy?

It’s so different to have the projection even on sloped ceilings.

Love the star and idea, projects well. I have a 7.5 ft tree though, and with the ceiling height this star just doesn’t work. If I had a smaller tree so the star had more surface area to cover, it’d be perfect.So. Know the height of your tree and ceiling before you buy. Make sure you have at least a foot between the tree top and ceiling, otherwise you’ll get a tiny circle of projected lights.

This tree topper is just beautiful!!!❄️❄️Awesome star for my Christmas tree. It’s a really nice size which would fit both a thin pencil or fat, fluffy tree!!! I love absolutely that it projects snowflakes on to the ceiling....seriously looks amazing!❄️❄️ It is very lightweight so it is easy to put onto the tree...the cord is skinny and can easily be threaded down the tree. It looks really cool and my family really loves it.❄️❄️Definitely a Christmas product!!!

For a $30 lighted start not what I expected. Said rotary projection doesn’t even do anything but light up.Could have bought one at local family dollar store for $5 if I just wanted a Basic lighted star. Seen different videos on same product and that’s what I thought I was paying for. Wanted a nice new star for our new home just upset it didn’t work

Looks really beautiful on top of our Christmas tree, it clearly projects flowy and beautiful snowflakes onto our ceiling and the kids love it, cord blends perfectly into our tree and can’t notice it at all. Definitely recommend it for the holiday season.

The light is just a tiny little space on the ceiling. I thought it would cover more space. The silver one is pretty. It's pretty big and has to have a dowel and wire to hold it up on top of the tree.

We like to prep before the main event that is Christmas in our house so buying different decorations beforehand to make sure that it works and fits in with the different deco areas is a must.This one is for our open plan kitchen area, it obviously sits on top of the tree and is there to match a gold and red design that we already have a lot of items for, unfortunately the previous star was looking a little shabby so it was time for an upgrade.This one has a nice opening on the base which fits our realistic tree perfectly then there is a cable which we hide by running it down the middle of the tree then it joins up with the cables for the other lights and plugs into a smart plug so we can control timings etc.While it does show quite well during the day it really pops at night and gives a dancing snowflake on the ceiling effect that takes it up a notch.Overall, it works for us, is tasteful and actually does what it should... looks fab.

I haven’t put this up just yet (October is probably a bit too early) but I did take this out the box to test it out and it’s just perfect. The star is quite big and inside is a light with a rotating projector which reflects the magical stars and snow on the wall. It really is very magical and my daughter is sooo excited to put it on the tree!
