Pungent, vivid spice
Jewelled rice needs saffron so I ordered this.At first I thought the strong smell was the plastic packaging! No.Gave a deep orange hue to my recipe and I'd buy again.Good product.

Amazing flavour!
This saffron is great! I use it almost everyday to cook rice and provides a great flavour for stews. It has a very nice aroma to it. The wife loves it! I love it! Will be buying again! Highly recommended if you are a saffron lover!

Delivered promptly and well packaged.
I added a few strands directly to a paella. I should have left it to soak in the hot stock, or a little hot water, for 10 minutes and then the colour and flavour would have come out more. I'll remember next time.
