GIRLS GENERATION TAETISEO [TWINKLE] 1st Mini Album CD+Lyrics+15p Post Card+Card

I'm not a fan of Korean mainstream pop idol acts as I prefer R&B and Hip-hop acts, but everyone and their mother kept raving about SNSD's first Japanese album years ago. So I listened to the album expecting to hear the usual saccharine and overly cutesy pop that I abhor throughout the album but I was wrong. Strangely enough I really like this album and praise it highly. While there are a few light-hearted and youthful pop songs on the album, it is mostly contemporary adult pop. The girls Japanese pronunciation is a bit off, I studied Japanese when I was younger, but it's nothing to bash them for since Korean is their native language.Out of the 12 tracks the only songs I don't fancy are- Gee (too cutesy)- Hoot (the melody wasn't memorable)- Born To Be A Lady (typical ballad structure song)I'm more of a casual older listener of international pop music but I have to give credit where it's due and say that this album is a nice addition to my album shelf. Thanks to SNSD's persistent and devoted fans for spreading the word on their Japanese albums. You guys are great. :)

I really really really loved this album! I am someone who does not typically buy albums, and I took me awhile to convince myself to buy it, but I am glad I did! I originally only like about 7 songs out of the 12 songs on the album, but after buying it I feel in love with all the songs. Each one is different, but has that SNSD feel to it.This album came by itself, and inside you would find the Girls Generation CD which looks so cute, and a little photo booklet of their pictures for the album. The only downside is that they have a lyrics booklet for the Japanese songs, and a korean translation/ korean lyrics BUT they are in Hangul or Japanese so you would have to be familiar with the language to read it.

Love This Album so much

What a jazzy album! I Love Seohyun’s sound! Her voice is very unique and I love her smooth jazzy vibe! Magic and Moonlight are beautiful songs, the whole album is amazing though. The packaging is beautiful, it’s the size of a book and her photo shoot is so classy. She is gorgeous! This is a great album for any Girls Generation or kpop fan!

It is a good first attempt at the Japanese market and goodness knows the girls have gotten much better at Japanese songs. This does have the jap. remixes of some good songs by GG Such as Genie, Mr. taxi, and Gee which can give the illusion of a repackaging but there are great new songs like Bad Girl which is easily my favorite none remix on the album. If you are getting the regular version and hoping for a photo-card or book I have bad news. Until I got this I thought nothing could be worse than The Boys photo-book; I was wrong. All that aside it is a pretty good album but i would only recommend this if you are a SONE, like me, that needs all the albums.

It's GG so if you like them you will be happy. Personally I prefer the Korean version of Hoot (from the Hoot EP) because the lyrics have a better flow to me than this Japanese version (also heard that first so ...)Like a lot of recordings the production is not uniform but it still works for the CD so it is worth getting because of the amount of solid songs.

I am a sone been and been one for a very long time and I love this album and I love Snsd. I like all the aongs in this album because the songs are catchy and very fun to lisetn to. My favorite songs are Let it Rain,Gee Born to be a lady, and the Great Escape. I would recommded this album to all sones and who like jpop and kpop music.

I liked all of the songs on this CD!I do prefer their hit songs in Korean, however, it's easier for me to sing along in Japanese because I can't sing Korean very well although I try. [It's a really hard language!]So, if you're a huge fan, this is a great CD to add to your collection!

I love this album. After owning and watching the 2011 Girls' Generation Tour DVD in Japan, I loved the Japanese songs such as you-aholic, bad girl, let it rain and beautiful stranger so was happy to know there was an album that included all of the songs I enjoyed as well as classics like genie, run devil run, gee and hoot. I'm very satisfied with this album and is a must buy for Girls' Generation fans.

The album that our Girls Generation started, sold over 100 million copies in Japan. Loved every minute of it. Once u are done with this album, the girls have already released their 2nd Japanese album, Girls Generation II Girls & Peace. Which is even better.

「Gee」のMVを観て、衝撃を受けました。 ダンス・ルックス・歌唱力どれをとっても最高。何より日本のアイドル(敢えてアイドルと呼びますが)にはない「品」があります。彼女達は幼い頃より合宿し、辛い時は励まし合い、友達とも遊べず、色々なものを犠牲にして芸を磨いたそうです。その培った集大成がこのアルバムだと思います。 よくKARAと比較されますが、断然少女時代が格好いい。 やっぱり曲が最高です。 このアルバムの評価ですが、期待通り、文句無しです。 以下の2曲が特にいい。 8・Let It Rain →リプトンのCM曲。ミディアムスローなテンポで、サビのコーラスがとても美しい。 10・THE GREAT ESCAPE →TV・ミュージックステーションで披露されてました。この曲のMVが見たいです。 ただ、敢えて苦言を言えば、テヨンとジェシカの声にしか聞こえないのは私だけでしょうか? 今、少女時代は多忙を極めてます。ジャパンツアーの最中にサニーが過労で病院に運ばれたらしいと聞きました。また、ミュージックステーションに出演していたジェシカの目の下の隈が気になりました。スタッフにはメンバーの体調管理をしっかりやってほしいと思います。
