Short & Clean (TWSS)
Definitely recommend a short shifter. I installed on my 2018 WRX base. Description says it’ll reduce throws by like 35% or something, but it feels more than that. Complimented with a Perrin shift stop, the shift throws are SUPER SHORT!!Installation was easy, but I watched the installation video (Subispeed) twice before attempting. The 2 challenging things of the installation was:1. Removing the retaining ring/spring for the reverse lock out - WATCH FOR THE SPRING2. Remembering what went where when reinstalling.Some pieces are tiny & can be easily lost! This was my second biggest install/modification on the my WRX. As challenging it may seem, it’s straight forward & I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

'20 WRX Short Shifter
Set this up with the boomba shifter plate, Perrin shifter stop, and the bushing. Got a good Raceseng Weighted Knob as well. Shifts are quick, and very positive. Precise and heavy, gets you right in the gears in a very visceral way. Angles your shift knob rearward so you can perch your arm on the center rest while you throw. Install was easy enough for the short shifter, if you plan on combining it with the shifter plate, be prepared to work with some very tight spaces.

NOT THAT HARD TO INSTALL AND GREAT RESULTS!
This really isn’t that bad to install. I set everything out next to where I would be working and went for it. Took maybe an hour and a half. I paired it with the boom a shifter plate (absolute nightmare to install, but worth it) and shifts are notchy, short and makes the car much more enjoyable to drive.
