Queen of the Ring: Wrestling Drawings by Jaime Hernadez

Fans of Pro Wrestling MAY like this book
This book contains about 300 impressive drawings of fictional women wrestlers. About half are in colour. As a fan of traditional pro wrestling I like these drawings. All the ladies are attired in one piece swimsuits which reveal superlative physiques. The strength in their thighs is particularly striking. All the ladies are superfit and none are overweight. The text which accompanies these drawings is brief, but emphasizes the barbarity of women who are paid to entertain us with their brutalityI do however have reservations about the book as a whole. Some of the drawings are (very) small. Worse, some of the (relatively few) captions to the drawings are so small that I need a magnifying glass to read them! But my main complaint is that about half of the drawings are not action shots. They are ‘static’ – the ladies depicted are not fighting but just stood facing us. I would have much preferred more drawings of members of the (allegedly) weaker and gentler sex using their outstanding strength to inflict great pain.
