GOOD QL Carrier.
Great commuting/shopping rear rack at a great price. The seat stay bars solved any sway issue I had with a prior beam-only rack (returned). This carrier stands up to a reasonable amt of cargo - again, compared to beam-only. BUT I'm glad other reviews mentioned assembly was bit tedious for them, too (took me > hour). All parts/hardware fit well, instructions are adequate. The full quick release was the selling point for me and the mudguard is perfect bonus.Weight; After unboxing, I weighed the different components (below) for this rack, to compare against other racks.Rack & QL 680g2 Seat stay arms & QL 337g2 Side W-frames 120gMudguard 41gReflector 22g(Total weight 1200g)Happy with this rear carrier.

Looks good how much it will take ie pounds
Looks good can’t give opinion yet on durability. Hopefully it will stand the test of time?

Works Good. Installantion is not for beginners
Got mine installed yesterday. As other reviews mentioned the included instructions are all but useless. Usually each part is numbered and one follows an Ikea style assembly buy attaching part #1 to the hole in Part #2 etc. Not the case here at all. The pictures are vague and lacking in details. I got far more information on how to install by referencing a pic of the finished installation. That said it can still be tricky as some parts do not follow intuition and if you're not experienced working bikes/cars one can get easily lost in the minor details. That said, once I got it all figured out I am pleased with the performance and sturdiness. I took it for a 20 mile ride with zero problems. I love the fact the basket can slide to adjust as this feature came in very handy b/c the length of the stem that attaches to the seat neck didn't clear the bottom of said seat. If the basket was not reposition-able it just wouldn't fit. The support bars that run down the side and clamp down can be a challenge, just take it slow and keep referencing the pic of the finished product. Once you figure out the 1st one the 2nd one will be a piece of cake. Don't forget the rubber spacers which will prevent the clamps from scratching your paint but will also improve the grip. The spacers were a puzzle for me but once you get the concept (which isn't explained) their presence in the parts bag make perfect sense.I like what I got and the price is good but I just cant stress enough that if you're not mechanically inclined you might wanna get someone with experience to do this installation for you. Other wise its a good product for the price.

Sturdy and holds my gear
Fit super great on my bike, and only took a little bit to set up. Adjustable sizing made it very easy to mount the parts. I usually carry some tools, lunch, and some extras when I go on long bike days, and it’s held it all without any sag. Great buy for me personally.

Sturdy Although Fender Brittle
Good news: The bracket is sturdy.- The mounting directions explain a little hazily about some rubber pads that you insert between the clamps and the bike frame.- Trick: I used Gorilla Contact Cement as seen in my photo and glued the pads into place.- Bad news: The fender is plastic and tapers in thickness toward the tail. A half inch of the end of mine was broke off before I even got it mounted. It still is functional, just don't expect it to last through an accident.
