FolkArt Pl2912 Multi-Surface Paint, 2 oz, Daffodil Yellow

This was my first time trying this type of paint, and I am so glad that I did. I shook the bottle each time before squeezing a small amount on a coated paper plate. I applied two coats. I love this color! You can't beat the price, so I ordered three bottles although I only used just about one. It glides on beautifully and the finish is smooth. I painted over this foldable table that was a natural wood. I used the Peacock color for the top of the table and the small horizontal strip towards the bottom. The rest I just painted black with an acrylic tube paint that I had in the house. Two coats are giving me a nice distressed look.

I love the folk art paint. It is very hard to get the popular colors in my small town walmart . so I order them here. I was disappointed in my bottle of burnt umber because it was only about 3/4 full. My wicker white and June berry are full. They work wonderful.

I’m an artist who works with varying mediums. I use high-end products, but sadly some need flow or retardant. This paint is not only works better than high-end paints, it also is beautiful, and the coverage is great! I’m a return customer for many times to come.

Juneberry is the color I’m trying to review.Unfortunately Thicket keeps being put in its place.Very frustrating because I like the Juneberry but not the Thicket.The Juneberry was easy to paint with. But the Ticket was watery like ink.

It’s paint. Okay what more can I say. The bottles came full. The colors seemed right. I had been mixing my own so this is different but okay and I still mix colors using these. Oh these colors are not glossy they are satin but it says so in the description so don’t get upset about that.I used these to paint Christmas ornaments and wine glasses.Because I’m a rebel I used multi surface and regular acrylic paint. I did find that for me the multi surface adhered better to the glass than the regular acrylic but with time and patience and cursing and muttering it all worked out in the end.Final say, I would only use the multi surface for smooth surfaces to get a first layer and perhaps a second layer but I would branch out into regular acrylic for over the first or second layer. Keep in mind one layer of the multi surface does not provide full coverage but it does allow grip for following layers.

I ordered this paint to mix with a medium for a fabric chair. I like the colour. Is was exactly what we needed and good quality paint.
