Buyer beware - Check Power Supply if appears DOA.
Functionally this product does what it should....assuming you have a Power Supply that actually works.This item came with a 2A power supply, despite the instructions clearly stating it required a 1A power supply to function. The included one did not work, it appeared DOA. Luckily I read another reviewer that complained of this issue, and happened to be replacing a 1 x 2 splitter that used a 1A Power Supply. Once I plugged in my old 1A power supply it lit up and began working.Out of the box this item is useless, and did not work. If I didn't have a PS that worked, I would've returned it immediately. Buyer beware.* If the seller is reading this, I will increase this rating if you decide to send me the correct Power Supply, but I won't be initiating a return since I needed to use this today.Update 10/5/16:The seller reached out to me and said they will be sending out the correct power supply, which is appreciated, but now I'm experiencing additional headaches. After using this for a number of hours, over the last week, it appears to be broken. The picture will randomly cut out for a second, and on occasion will have horizontal lines across the screen for 10-15 seconds at a time. I plugged in my old 1 x 2 splitter and all problems immediately went away. I will be requesting a replacement, hopefully the next one doesn't have these problems.

Beware this item FIXED
This seller was very nice in their e-mail and asked if they could send me a new PS. They did , it works now. All is well with this item nowDue to how small the price of this item was, I have chosen to not return it. However you should know that the power supply packed with it would not work. How very disappointing. You would think that would have been checked by someone. Sorry I bought this item and wish wasn't stuck with it. That's life I suppose!

Exactly what I needed
I wanted to be able to watch the same show in the kitchen without having to set up a second TV. I really only needed 2 outputs, but the price and simplicity of this item made it worth it. Set up in literally in a few minutes, it does a great job with no signal degradation that I can see - even using a 50 ft long HDMI cable.

Powered Splitter Failed
The unit I received was defective. It worked fine to split 1080p signal to 1 or 2 TVs. When I added a 3rd and 4th HDTV, it would occasionally work for a few minutes, but it always failed to amplify the 1080p content to all 4 TVs - usually within seconds of adding the third or 4th TV.

Picture quality was better than expected
Product description could be a little clearer as its one input and output is that same input to all the monitors connected. Picture quality was better than expected.

now i can use my computer in 4 different rooms
i love that I now can use my ONE computer (with the aid of wireless mice and keyboards) in the kitchen, living room, bedroom and study. i am lucky enough to have these rooms close together to minimize the HDMI cord length within usable tolerances.

Worked perfectly
Worked great I wanted to duplicate my xbox one to display on my main living room TV and my office and worked great no picture distortion and I ran over a 75 foot hdmi cable so definitely a decent product
