excellent quality juicer
we received this product at no cost in order to try it out and provide an honest review. we were not asked to provide any specific rating and this is our honest opinion. we have used it for several days and will update again in a few months if anything changes.in summary: we really were surprised at the quality of this juicer and have easily made a gallon of juice in the last few days.the unit is well boxed and comes with a manual, a recipe book, a travel mug, the juicer and masher attachments, and the feed tube, screw, and adjustable spout. we didn't expect the mug or the masher so those were nice extras.the quality of the plastics in use is very good. everything has a very thick strong feel and feels like it is both very durable but also not brittle. I can easily see these parts surviving many drops on the tile floor.assembly was easy after reading the instructions (pro tip, our screw came inserted into the feed tub part, and you really have to take those apart to assemble. the cap is counter threaded so left tight right loose... once we sorted that it went together in a few seconds). the unit has a removable power cord which I really like.instructions are clear and were written by a fluent english speaker familiar with the product. that is a very nice pro for an expensive product like this. the recipe book is more like an extension of the manual (dont ask me why it has photos of beautiful avocados and on page one says DONT USE AVOCADOS!!) in that the recipes are more like what settings on the adjustable pulp strainer and then more or less the same 4 steps for all the fruits and veggies. that said it is a nice little booklet and gave us some ideas for things to add to our juice that we hadn't considered (broccoli, spinach etc).in operation the unit is seriously quiet. think as quiet or quieter than a microwave or something like that. i was expecting it to be like a quiet blender but no, it's really really quiet. controls are easy (click on, click off, or press and hold reverse for .5 seconds to run backwards until you let go to unclog).the juice comes out nicely from the bottom, and the provided separator cup and nesting pulp container was another nice touch.we have already made some carrot-orange-blackberry, strawberry-apple-carrot, spinach-blood orange juices, and all were delicious. we are NOT juice cleansers. (we ate about 4 pounds of chicken wings the night before this review) we just like fresh juice type stuff and this feels like an instantly healthy thing to do.the parts come apart easily, clean up is really fast. mostly just rub everything with soapy hands, rinse off, and let air dry. for something that seems like it could be messy this was another surprise, it really is pretty easy to clean up. a brush is included for cleaning the metal screen at the pulp end of the juicer, another nice touch.final thought: the unit is nicely sized. it's actually a little smaller than i expected which is nice as we have a very small kitchen. This will probably earn a space on our counter, as we are all really enjoying the fresh juice.again, just to reiterate, we aren't "juicers" or cleanse type people. we were really impressed with how easy it is to assemble, use, clean; and really impressed with the results. even our 11 year old can easily assemble, juice, disassemble, clean etc. If you are in the market for a juicer, we aren't experts but our results were terrific and we happily recommend this product.

High Quality juice with a reasonably-priced machine
I have been into juicing raw fruits and vegetables since the 1990's. My first juicer was the Juiceman Juicer, a popular, though expensive juicer seen on many made for TV ads.As time went on, I had begun to see different juicers available on the market, and started to hear about the slow cold-pressed juicers. Enter my new Crenova Slow Masticating Juicer. When I first opened the box and started to inspect the parts, I was impressed by what seemed to be very high quality material. The juicer is made of plastic, but I noticed in the product description it is labeled as BPA free and Triton. I'm not sure what Triton means, but I'm guessing its a very high quality plastic material. Anyway, the parts feel heavy, solid, and my feeling is they'll last a long time.I was also pleasantly surprised that once assembled, the juicer actually looks better and more elegant than the photos on Amazon.Okay, so now onto the important thing. How does this machine juice?I started with carrots as they are very hard and thought this would be a real test of the machine.I turned the unit on, and cut regular size carrots into about 3 pieces each (not sure this is even needed). The unit handled them with ease, and of course carrot juice started oozing out. I pushed in a few more carrots until I had about an 8 oz glass of juice. The carrot juice was absolutely delicious, and the first thing I noticed was there was no foam, unlike my previous high speed juicer. The pulp is quite dry, which tells me the machine is doing an efficient job of extracting the juice out of the carrots.I then combined celery with carrots, and again, the juicer did a great job, handling the celery with ease. I then experimented with apples, again, wonderful juice. A combination of carrot, celery, and apple makes for a delicious juice combination.Clean up. Okay, so to be honest, this is one thing I do miss about my old high speed juicer. It did have less parts and was easier to clean. The Crenova juicer does have several parts to clean, but this is pretty much common with all of its cold pressed competitors, I believe. I wish there were only a couple of parts to clean, but this is the nature of the cold pressed juicer.Still, the good thing is, since you are only juicing fruits and vegetables, all you have to do is a good rinse. No soap or scrubbing required. To put it in perspective, I was curious. I set a timer, and after a couple of juice sessions, I timed the entire clean-up job for this juicer to be about 5 minutes, which really isn't that long.In summary, cold-pressed juicing is supposed to be a really healthy habit, and I believe the Crenova cold-pressed juicer delivers a high quality machine, with a powerful motor, at a very reasonable price compared to some of its competitors. It looks very elegant sitting on my countertop, and I'm glad to have made the purchase!
