As I have wooden garden furniture it was important that the covers were waterproof and could last for hopefully a couple of seasons. The bench is between a two and three seater size in these covers so I had to get a larger one to cover it. Consequently, there is 'extra' material at the sides of the bench but it only just fits front to back of the bench. I have placed this bench against the house wall to help trap the cover at the back (and cut down on the wind) as the cover was in danger of coming off altogether raising with wind, and uncovering the wood as the fasteners were not doing a lot with the 'extra' material.The water runs off this cover well (in fact, I have a couple of large water catching pots around the base which have filled up well and I have used on the garden!) and I do not seem to have much water underneath it. Like the chair, the little water within the cover there is, I suspect came from the fact that the wooden furniture was not entirely dry when I put the covers on in October.Again, the creepy crawlies are sheltering under this cover so I suspect it could be a little tricky to clean come the better weather again. However, if I remember, I will return and review when the time comes.

Early days, so I’ll have a better idea after the winter, but first impressions are not bad. It fitted my bench well enough and there are plenty of Velcro straps. I would have preferred a central strap to go under the middle of the bench but hopefully the straps around each leg will be enough to hold it in place in high winds. I would also have preferred plastic adjustable, clickable buckles like the ones on my bar-b-que cover but you can’t have everything I guess.It’s light weight which is good for storage as it won’t take up much space and will easily fit in a draw.

This is a great cover for garden bench very strong material and keeps everything dry would. Buy this again

Glad I chose this as the quality of the material is a lot better than my previous one. With all the heavy rain we have experienced recently, the bench remains protected. The ties keep it very secure. It looks like it will, hopefully, last quite a few years. Time will tell.
