Russell Hobbs 22810-56 Salt and Pepper Grinders

Awesome product and works like a charm - only wihsed it used less battery instead of 6 AAA!

The first set I had to return because one of the units did not work. The replacement set works great so far. I really like the light feature and the adjustable grind (course, medium, and fine).

These grinders are awesome. The are among the more powerful on the market. A strong grinder is especially important if you like your pepper 'chunky'.Very well made, and they look nice to boot. All that for an excellent price.

We like the salt and pepper mills. Grind in good and easy to use. Didn't realize there is no warranty for this product in the USA.

The salt item did NOT FIT WELL.REPLACED WITH MOJO brand. Much better.BOTH Shells did not FIT markings and reservoir too small.

I dealt with a set of Cuisinart rechargeable salt/pepper mills and finally threw them out. I won't get into why they were bad. I went in search of some different one and decided to try these mills. Wow, what a difference. These grind like the other ones never did. You have to be a bit careful with the salt and it comes out pretty fast. I was a bit concerned they would eat batteries as they are not rechargeable.,. That has not been the case. They get used daily and show no signs of going dead. They take 6AAA batteries. So far, I'm very happy with the purchase. I would recommend them to anyone.

Powerful enough; however, the pepper mill has fallen apart after less than one year light usage. Screws are stripped and the glue joint (metal to plastic - really?) has failed. Silk screen printing wiped off first time they were cleaned. Too late to return apparently.

Bought a set of these for my wife. We liked them well enough that we bought another set for when we have our Family & Holiday meals. Our Daughter liked them so well that we bought a set for her for Christmas. Everyone who uses these are really impressed. The only down fall is the capacity of salt & pepper that you can put in them..They do last us 6 weeks to 2 months before we have to refill them, but I realize that they have to make room for the motor & batteries.

Pues ni más ni menos que unos molinillos electricos, éso si, de buena construcción y calidad.El diseño es muy elegante (aunque para gustos colores) y es automático, éso si, gasta cada uno seis pilas AA y no sé cuanto durarán.Puedes ajustar la salida de fino a más grueso y ha funcionado sin problemas con sal maldon en uno y pimientas en otro.Tiene una luz led que es bastante útil para saber lo que echas, vamos, no le falta un detalle.

J'ai plusieurs moulins Russell Hobbs modèle12051-56 dont j'ai fait le commentaire. Un seul problème sur un des moulins. Le bouton de mise en marche s'est cassé et le moulin est rendu quasiment inutilisable. J'ai voulu essayer ce modèle qui me semble parfait. Le contact de mise en route est mieux pensé, les réglages de mouture sont plus accessibles et l'esthétique est plus sobre. Seul inconvénient, l’utilisation des piles AAA demande 6 piles au lieu de 4 AA sur le modèle 12051. Quatre piles c'est bien plus pratique car les packs sont en principe des multiples de 4.

Pros:These seem very well made. Some of the cheaper models out there have a single little white LED light underneath for illuminating the food you are seasoning. These have an illuminating ring, blue-ish in colour (using three LEDS as far as I can tell) which is a nice touch.Adjustment of the grind size is by twisting the lower ring of the grinder instead of fiddling with a little thumb-screw undeneath the grinder which is again usually a feature of the cheaper models. There is a good selection of grind sizes from very fine to very coarse.They are also powerful enough at grinding probably because they use 6 "AAA" size batteries each. 12 batteries sounds like a lot but I expect them to last a while in these grinders. My previous set used 4 "AA" sized batteries in each grinder, and during use sounded like they were constantly struggling.You can get a cheaper pair of electronic grinders for about £10 but they do not look as nice as these nor, I suspect, will they perform or handle as well. My last set were similar to these. The Russel Hobbs grinders are a great improvement and stylish enough to be places on the dinner table as well as for use in the kitchen.Cons:When first using one of the grinders, the activation button seemed to stick but after a couple of presses it loosened off and is fine now.

Da unsere einfachen Mühlen aus dem Discounter sich mittlerweile mit müh und not drehen ließen und der Mahlgrad nicht einstellbar habe ich noch einem Würdigen elektrischen Ersatz besucht.Zum Kauf des Prduktes bewegten mich übwerwiegend der Günstige Preis sowie die äußerst guten Bewertungen die ich nun nur bestätigen kann.Zum Erscheinungsbild des Produkts:Sie wirken vorallem wegen des doch sehr günstigen Preises äußerst Hochwertig, nicht zuletzt durch das sauber verarbeitete Metallgehäuse.Die Füllmenge is ausreichend groß, habe sie seit 2 Wochen täglich im Einsatz und sie sind beide noch ca. halb Voll.Mahlgrad sehr schön einzustellen durch verdrehen des untersten Ringes.Die LED in den Mühlen ist sehr hell, wobei ich auch nicht ganz verstehe wer diese wirklich braucht. Ich denke die meisten werden wie ich bei Angeschaltetem Licht bzw Tageslicht kochen.Betrieben werden die beiden Mühlen mit jeweile 6x AAA Akkus 1000mAh von AmazonZur Funktion:Die Mühlen arbeiten sehr sauber. Der Eingestellte Mahlgrad ändert absolut nichts an der Leistungsfähigkeit, man merkt also zu keinem Zeitpunkt das diese Mühlen sich mit dem Salz/Pfeffer schwer tun.Wie bereits erähnt erschließt sich der Sinn der LED nicht so wirklich aber das tut dem ganzen ja keinen Abbruch.Nach 2 Monaten und nahezu täglichen sind auch die Akkus noch nicht leer.Kann diese Salz/Pfeffermühlen mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Sie erfüllen ihren ihren Sinn und Zweck voll und ganz und sehen serh schön aus.
