Looking for a sponge additive that is not super expensive and easily stored out of the refrigerator.

My coral beauty angel fish was pacing the front glass and becoming darker and darker. This angel now wags her/his tail in front of me. It has so many beautiful colors now. The ammino acids seem to enhance the health of my angel without having sponges available.

Update:This is still a great product, and my fish love it, but I hate the new cap/lid. The old style flipped open and you could squeeze it out like from a lemon juice or ketchup bottle. The new cap just screws off, and every time I pour it no matter what I do a little runs down the side of the bottle and makes a mess. Minus 1 star because of that bad design change.Original review:Saltwater angel fish need particular types of food, and most things you buy to feed to fish does not contain it. Lots of angel fish die in captivity partially because of this. There are a couple of ways to add that missing ingredient, Spirulina, and this is one of them. Another is a powder sold by some other sites. I use both, and they seem to work well in combination with other good habits.

I soaked nori with this and fed it to a rock beauty angel for three months. She loved it and it was available to her (along with other foods) around the clock. After three months (typical captive lifespan) she died.

This is a great product.
