The thing I love about this ring light is that normally when you put your phone inside really any ring light, making sure it's fully charged is always something that is needed. However, with this ring light, even if you're phone isn't fully charged, you can still put it in the holder because there is a USB plug that when you plug your phone in, it charges your phone while recording or doing whatever you are doing. Unlike most ring light tripods that I've purchased before, this tripod is not some cheap metal that if you lean the phone a certain way it will tip. This tripod is completely tip proof unless you push it. The ring light is fully adjustable and really easy to do. The remote that comes with this is a lot more useful than I thought. I was able to connect it to my phone easily and when I need to adjust the light or start recording or take a picture, I can do so easily with this remote. This is definitely a high end and high quality ring light without having to pay hundreds of dollars.

My wife is a makeup artist and frequently does tutorials and live videos demonstrating different techniques. She also is a photographer. I’ve been on the hunt for a good light ring for that very reason! We are also very creative/crafty couple and the light ring works perfect for product lighting for our Etsy shop!The range in brightness as well as cool-warm tones is fantastic. The addition of a handheld remote is also super nifty. The tripod itself is very sturdy and we intend to use it for our DSLR camera too. I appreciate that there is a carrying bag included for the tripod itself. It’s all these extra, thoughtful touches that keep me coming back for more TaoTronics products.As usual, the finish and overall presentation of the product as well as the user friendly design make this a staple in our daily activities. We have several photographer and cosmetology friends that I’ll be referring to adding this ring light to their arsenal!

Solid and sturdily build. Very customizable with height and phone holders and also light colors...remote works with both android and apple iphone.. impressed by the build quality and materials used.

The older one broke from the ring hook while changing the angle to down and so we decided to get a little expensive one with a better quality that can be used for long. Went for this one and overall happy with it compared to the previous one that we owned.The build quality of this product is very good. It will stand still without wobbling even on a carpet. Assembly is super easy and adjustable height is a great feature. My wife wanted a ring light stand for her home photoshoots and she is super happy with this product. Overall it is a very good product for the price.My 2 cents below:Pros:- Ring lights are super bright. 12-inch size of the ring will fit most needs- Has different shade options for the light from warm to cool white. Total 50 lighting modes- Multiple levels of brightness control for the lights- Tall enough and adjustable height option to suit any need. The height of the bracket without the lamp is 78'' inches and this is more than enough for any possible needs- Lights don't hurt eyes even when used for long- Remote control is very comprehensive and it is one of the key features of these rights. Everything including power ON/OFF is controllable through the handy remote- Very sturdy. The stand is a thick build which will definitely last long. It kind of looks like a professional one- Has a USB outlet for powering mobile while using it on stand- Reasonably priced for the quality and what it does- It comes with 18 months manufacturer warrantyCons:- These can't be powered with any USB adapter and hence not portable. You need to rely on a power outlet to use this ring light. I wish both power modes were possible so that it can be used with a power bank tooRecommended for all DIY photoshoot at home needs. It is built to last and without any second thought go for it.

It had different light modes like warm and white. The brightness level was amazing, I took photos in the dark and it still turned out to be amazing. It fit several different types of phones since multiple were used at my neice's birthday. The bluetooth remote actually worked unlike the other one I bought. The ringlight was also bigger. Overall, I would highly recommend purchasing this rather than any other one you find.

I purchased a ring led light years ago and used a tripod for the camera to help take pictures for passports etc. The issue i had when i changed phone was the lack of Bluetooth button to take pictures as well as getting the right angle.After a lot of time looking for a new light and tripod i came across this. There are some cheap setups, medium and the more premium. I wanted something mid range so i opted for this, kicking myself i didnt order months ago when amazon had a voucher.Assembly is very easy however the magic and BEST part of this whole setup is the tripod. The angle, setup and adjustment just works and it is easy to use. The light is bright (standard and nothing special, the usb charging is a bonus but not required and same goes for the phone mountSo you might ask is the product worth it for the tripod. The answer is yes, If you factor in the light phone mount , remote control and tripod the price around £75 is about right.

And the person who takes video or pics, gets missed in them. Hence, I quite like using a tripod during occasions.My current tripod is quite flimsy hence I bought this one.This is a good quality sturdy tripod that provides good intensity of light as well. There is a reason why they have fixed the mobile holder in the centre of the light ring. Please look at my attached video for more details.I am quite happy with my purchase.

Absolutely in love with this ring light! Really sturdy and high quality, fully adjustable (and collapsible) that makes it very handy for versatile use and easy storage out the way, easy to set up and pair your phone via Bluetooth for remote photo capture (gamechanger for selfies!!). There are two adjustable phone attachment pods on the unit, it’s easy to attach your phone and once in, your phone feels securely in place and there’s even a USB port to charge your phone while connected! Full range of brightness and light temperature to suit all requirements, which can all be controlled remotely. I mainly bought it for photography but after playing around with it, I will be using it for makeup, for video calls, as a selfie light, and for work (I’m a lash technician). It’s really exceeded my expectations, I am so thrilled with it!

I've been using this for almost a week now and I'm very pleased with the quality overall. It's built with great materials, feels robust, and can get super bright. I've been using this to record some visuals and the built-in phone holder is extremely useful for anyone looking to get into videography of any kind using your phone.The remote is very useful, even lets you connect via Bluetooth to trigger your phone which is a welcomed feature. The brightness is great as I stated earlier, and the level of control over the light temperature is also great. The tripod is quite unique too. I own many tripods but this one comes with a click to keep in place function which is helpful when you're trying to make sure all three legs are at an even angle. (It even helps it fold away to a smaller form factor!)Comes with an extra clip to mount the same phone or an additional phone to the tripod, and also comes with a carry case for the tripod.Overall very pleased and would recommend it to anyone

This is definitely a high end and high quality ring light without having to paying a fortune.Recommend
