This car phone holder is exactly what I was looking for. It doesn’t stick out too far or wobble around while I’m driving, which makes it feel really secure. I also like that it protects my vent instead of pulling on the plastic and risking damage. It’s easy to install—just clips right on—and the design keeps my phone right where I need it without being annoying. Overall, a solid, well-made mount that I’m happy to use every day. I use it in my Mercedes-Benz SLK350, which has some challenges for sloped vents and tight spaces. This mount is exactly what I was looking for and will purchase one or two more for my other vehicles.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The phone holder is great. You lock it in on your vent and it stays in place it doesn’t move. It doesn’t vibrate like the other one that I had did and it doesn’t come loose like the other one I had did, easy to install. and adjust phone once you get it in place. I would highly recommend this item.

This fits the vent well and is adjustable. A little wobbly, but maybe I do not have it tight enough. I am hesitant to over tighten because I don't want to crack the vent slot.A little perk, I surmise, will be in the summer, when it is stifling, having the ac blow on my phone from the vent will be better than my phone baking on my dashboard.

I got this for my wife's car to use on her vents as that's the only place to put a phone mount in her Prius C. The phone clasp and release buttons are really satisfying to use. The release button especially is really gentle. It holds up to everyday driving. However, it can fall off if it gets really bumped by something which is annoying.

In a 2000 Chevy s10 vent, this is always in the way of the shift lever, and jiggles constantly while driving. Its weight pulls the vent downward until the phone holder bracket finally hits the immovable frame around the center vent. It then jiggles as you drive—not unusably so, but annoyingly. The holder and clamp are well made, but not an ideal solution to the problem of hands free phone use in my vehicle. I don’t suspect similar competing designs are any better in my vehicle.
