Just stock up on batteries. They do not last long and I'm using the good batteries. I thought it plugged in. But very pretty and if you have rechargeable batteries you'll be fine. Batteries last maybe 3 days at using 8 hrs a day. 3 aa batteries.

A little difficult to keep turning it on rather than having it come on with the tree lights that are on a timer. It’s so pretty it is worth the effort

It’s a beautiful topper, but the brightness of the lights dim down pretty quickly… it has drained a lot of batteries already. I would have liked this to be able to be plugged to the electrical outlet and keep the brightness for longer

This lasted all season. It was the perfect color (I'd call it mauve) and was so pretty on top of my white, Victorian tree.

Burns through batteries (3 AA) very quickly. Cheaply made

I was so excited for this star to come as it was the finishing touch I needed on my tree. When it arrived I put the batteries in only to discover it did not work. I alternated 3 brand new pairs. Same issue each time. I contacted customer support and they immediately sent me a new one. It arrived today. I was so anxious to get it on my tree. Put a brand new pair of batteries in. SAME ISSUE!!!! I alternated 5 pairs today. This star refuses to light up. I don't know what else to say besides it is not what I expected it to be. Amazon wanted to send me another one. I rather the refund.

It's pretty. There were no instructions - I don't know if it has a remote control?

Price could’ve been better

The star was smaller that I hoped and wasn’t as bright as the pictures but it does the trick though I’ll probably look for a Duffy tree topper next year. Still decent value.

I didn’t read it closely enough, it takes AAA batteries, I would have preferred electrical. Nonetheless, it looks great and exactly what we wanted on our new slimline Christmas tree.
