Quest 34289 2 Slice Toaster/Variable Browning Control/Reheat and Defrost/Crumb Tray and Cord Storage/Black / 870W

Wanted a toaster with a small footprint, which it has, but consequently it takes only very small (and quite thin) slices of bread. Difficult to use if you slice your bread by hand.It has a fairly useless crumb tray; be prepared to get toast crumbs all over your counter, and it takes quite a lot of shaking over the sink (in various orientations!) to get all the other crumbs out.

Bought this toaster as ours had broken and it was a good price, wish I hadn't bothered. Its too small to take a large slice of bread, you have to toast bottom half then turn bread around to toast top half.Bread is toasted golden brown on one side but stripped on the other side and You cannot toast T / Cakes as elements are too close together.So all in all I am still using the grill on my oven and toaster is left in the cupboard :( :(

If you use small slices of bread you can make unevenly toasted toast using this toaster. If you use normal bread like warbertons or hovis then you haven’t got a chance. The toaster is far too small for normal bread. Then you have the problem of how can you return it once you have used it. I’m afraid I will just have by my mistakes, throw this one in the tip and buy a new toaster that actually makes toast.

Working with a budget to furnish a house this toaster is better then none. But, if you like toasty crumpets, or thick bread , its not for you :(I was excited to recieve it promptly in hopes of having a crumpet break from decorating and such. But was so sad when my crumpets got stuck and ruined!Cute little toaster for medium sized breadBut not for crumpets :(

Does fit the standard size bread I use. Went and bought a small loaf as read the reviews, no need. Hovis, warburtons fit fine

This two slice toaster toasts very fast the controls are good the browning option works very well, the crumb tray slides out easily. It is compact and and ideal to store if you don't have a lot of space in the kichen.

Very small cant get normal size slice of bread in it unless u cut about an ince off the end. Works but not the best if you can afford a bit more to get bit bigger one then do so

It is basic, cheap and easy to use which is what my mum wanted but the suits are very narrow so if you want to do something like a hot cross bun, you have to flatten it with a rolling pin first
