Although you can use other foam products Woodland Scenics Riser allows for a quick.and effiecent way to change elevations. You can form radius faster than with other products and without cutting. Using an incline of 2% you can go from zero to 4 inches in 8 24 inch segments.

only way to install an accurate incline
only way to install an accurate incline on my last two HO train tables. Avoids abrupt changes in rate of incline which can uncouple rolling stock.

It’s a slope, what can I say
This is a box of precision cast styrofoam blocks to make a 2% incline or “grade”. Woodland Scenics pretty much has the market cornered on such a product so you pay what is asked. But it does beat cutting wood risers at precision lengths to make your own grade. My complaint is the seller packaged it poorly so it arrived damaged. I have to narrow it for N scale anyway so I’ll make do. In hindsight I should have stuck to my “go to” suppliers for model railroading, Midwest Model Railroad and Hobbylinc.
