Works well to ease pain from patellar tendon from Osgood schlatters

My knee was bothering me for weeks due to a new exercise program. It felt like a tendon was burning or tearing. I thought I would be out of work and the gym until I purchased this band. Now I can run, jump and kick butt at my class without any pain or fear. (I also started taking turmeric... just adding that in case that helped a lot too)

For those with neoprene allergies, this is one of only a few companies who make non neoprene braces. Solidly made brace that won't fall apart. Comfortable to wear.

Works as advertised. Lightweight, easy to put on. Can rub a bit on the left side of the leg at the crease but otherwise good product. I would purchase again. Not sure why they don't offer free shipping though. They have it priced at $34.95 which is just .05 less than the free shipping minimum. I think that's kind of cheap on their part as the package is so light.Update 7/16/15. After wearing it regularly for several months I began to notice two things:1. The end of the velcro fastener of the outer strap stopped sticking all the way. The end would peel up a lot. I had to adjust it so that enough of the scratchy part would stick to the other part and that made it tighter than I wanted. 2. It eventually became annoying to put on and keep on because of the two piece system. It still worked as intended but when running out in a hurry, was too time consuming to put on.

I have Osgood Schlatters. I Decided to get a nicer tendon strap instead of wearing a cheap one out every month. This was a great solution. Very nice. The gel- like insert is different than any other strap I've seen. Love it.

There’s a small part that’s very scratchy on the skin

I have used these for several years and they are the best support straps I have found. Years of jumping around playing competitive volleyball, and I wouldn't still be playing without the daily use of these. They keep everything nice and tight and well supported.
