Fits just right for the model stated
Fit mine perfectly, I have the hp model that is states, but mine is the 41 series not the 40 series but it still fit perfectly. I hate that I have a white laptop lol but

Great but adds a bit of weight
Fits great with my hp 14-fq1021nr(amd Ryzen 5500u model)!Looks great as well (see pics). However it does add a bit of weight but it's fine for me. I take it to school with bag so the case definitely will prevent scratches and protect my laptop's chassis . I would buy again if I need protection for another laptop.

Great for the price
I got this as a gift for my little brother and he loves it. Looks nice and protects well so far. Easy to clip on and off.

Works as advertised
This cover fits well I wish the clips were a bit longer on the bottom. All around for the price it is great. This cover protects my maintenance laptop I take all over the helicopter. It has done a good job to this point. I also added extra anti skid pads on the bottom the case tends to be slick.
