Should last a lifetime
Works every time it's called on, just had to be set up by a computer shop because it got knocked about a bit in the post but overall good value for money.

Good cheap workhorse
Arrived very quickly, though I was a bit surprised to find it had no DisplayPort (which I thought was standard on OptiPlex 790's - I have 2 others). So I installed a spare Graphics Card I had and powered it up to ensure everything was working and all was well.After that, I proceeded to upgrade the RAM to 16Gb, and replace the installed Hard Disk Drive with an SSD. I wasn't particularly bothered about the Windows 10 installation & license that came pre-installed on the original HDD as this PC was always destined to run Linux as the purpose the PC was intended for was always going to run better on Linux.Condition of the PC is like new. Barely a blemish on it and it is happily running in my Home Office. It is perfect for the purpose I bought it to do. Just be aware that these particular models of OP790 only have VGA ports. If you want a DP or HDMI port then you will need to install to (low-profile) GPU.

Beware the major update after you've set it up
It was really good at the start until...the above update.First off, it wouldn't let me sign in to my profile and I messed around for ages, until eventually getting through.The error message was something about the profile system not being accessible.So, I got in and all the files were wiped. So the computer is great for the money but spec is low (it's a 10 year old computer ffs) so don't think you'll be playing games on this.I would advise 1. change the lock so that it's set to off with no password. 2> Get the update out of the way. It takes an hour.Hopefully this will mean all is well. 3. change password.Anyway that's where I am now. If you have little money...great little set up.If you've got money. Buy a new computer with the spec you need.

Didn’t need the keyboard and WiFi adapter anyway.
It’s not really an issue but only arrived with the power lead.

Brought this for my son at Christmas, due to circumstances out of our control he has only got to take it out the box today to plug it in to find it has no ram so he can’t use it he has waiting six months to use his Christmas present.

Dell tower windows 10
My old computer was windows 7 and very slow so to use a windows 10 is great. No problems with it. Quick delivery plus a little pressy inside. Thank-you

recommended buy for limited budget
i needed something cheap just for music and camera downloads.arrived on time even had a wifi dongle included.all worked finei have had no issues.instructions easy to follow.
