Psychopharmacology: Drugs, the Brain, and Behavior

Great addition to the psychology classroom.

I haven't gotten through the whole book yet, but what I have read was informative and easy to understand. It is the text for my Behavioral Pharmacology class and I am glad the professor chose this text.

We used this in a Graduate psychopharmacology course. Although it was a bit elementary and geared more towards an undergraduate level, I found it to be a helpful resource because I did not have much of the background knowledge for the course.

This book was the book I needed for my class. It does a good job of explaining the concepts without being boring. It is fairly easy to understand. It is interesting if knowing about how drugs work interests you.

Great book for an introduction to psychopharmacology.

I am keeping this textbook for future reference, it is packed with information and easy-to-interpret diagrams of drug-brain interaction and effects.

Good book

like the title would indicate--this book is very scientifically factual. There are no stories about people experiencing different drugs. It's just a presentation of the facts. Typically textbook material.

This is a great book, even for the lay reader. I have the 2018 2nd edition, I was somewhat surprised to find absolutely no mention of pregabalin/lyrica given how recently it was published but that doesn't detract from the overall quality of the book.

Came really quick, well packaged, in pretty much perfect condition.As for the book itself, if anyone is unsure whether to buy this book, I'm telling you now, buy it, really useful, clear cut, good diagrams etc :)

Brilliant book

very interesting and well written

It was used and even had page markers still in it. Not impressed.
