A great edition.
Unlike his "revised" edition of The American Tours which should be absolutely avoided by those who purchased the original(because it's the same darn book but bigger!!??),he has produced two books out of the original one and this time has introduced new pics and information not found in the first one volume book.He starts with The Boys getting together as a film team and from there and ends with their having finished the filming of Atoll K.The main thrust of the book however and where the most details come in is the/32 and /47 British Tours. He has greatly expanded the tour dates and experiences of the two during this time.He next skims through and gives a rough overview of the European dates(on the same tour),as he wrote the definitive book "The European Tours" already which also should be on your book shelf.Bottom line: The book is a wealth of information and deserves to be on any L&H fan's shelves.I'm looking forward to part two.

A comprehensive account of the 1932 and 1947 tours
This is all that a fan of the duo could ever want. There is so much information contained in this book that the author must have done considerable research.Though comparing the photos of them from the 2 tours they appear to have aged a lot with Hardy having put on a lot of weight.Given their subsequent health problems one can only wonder at the effect that such a physically demanding tour had taken on them.
