Great vacuum
I had my "cheapest we could find" vacuum which still works after 7 years but it's time to upgrade as I noticed it doesn't clean the carpet so good. For comparison, I vacuumed a little bit with both vacuums and there's an obvious difference in how much it pickes up.So what I LOVED MOST about this vacuum is that the suction power is great, cleaning path is 13 inches, which is wide. I love that it's swivel, let's you manuver so comfortable around things. Cord length is longer than I had so for me it's an improvement,I no longer have to switch the outlets. Noise level is about the same for my both vacuums so I didn't notice big difference, but it's a vacuum, I don't expect silent mode)) You can turn the brush off so it doesn't rotate on the floor, which is cool. You can adjust suction for "plush carpet " or "low carpet".Also, Tangle free brush...well, let's be honest it's not completely free of hair but hell yes, there's tremendous difference how it was on my old vacuum...sometimes I had to clean the hair 2-3 times just to clean one room cuz there's 3 girls with long hair in the house. So don't expect it totally free of hair but it's pretty close to it and it's easy to clean. I love the lights...very helpful when small particles jumping around the brush so I know I need to give ot another pass. Normally, I wouldn't see it cuz I have bad eyes plush astigmatism so in bad lighting conditions I don't see good. Anti allergen filtration system is also important my family as we are all allergic to dust. My air purifier usually indicates raise in air contamination when I vacuum...this time NOTHING, so I feel like the system does the job well. What I didn't like that it's pretty heavy...it's subjective but I checked the competitors, they all about the same weight. But it's not really complicating things for my back, even though my lover back is getting hurt often, the wheels move very smooth so the vaccum moves easy. I think it's my main complaint, I wish it was lighter. It has a very cool feature, the cord clip. But while it's super helpful you can see on my photo, just one day of use and it has a lot of marks, which over time will damage the cord...(smth to improve definitely). But overall it's an amazing vacuum, made my carpets clean and fluffy again.

A Super Long and Very Honest Review of this Vacuum, Including a Pros and Cons List
Important notes: I have not had this vacuum for long at all and have only used it a handful of times, so I cannot speak to its lasting power or it’s quality over time. I do not have any stairs, so I cannot attest to its stair cleaning ability. I am also a vacuum newbie, and don’t have a ton of vacuum experience to compare this to. However, I do have a deep love for vacuuming and will try as be as unbiased and honest as possibleMy review is five stars, when taking into account the price and promises of this vacuum. I’m sure there are vacuums that work a thousand times better than this, but for the price you are getting a quality vacuum. I wouldn’t say this vacuum is worth $500, but it is worth the <$200 I payed for it.Pros:- vacuum is easy to assemble and easy to take apart, with clearly labeled latches for all the features that can be detached and turned on/off- i find the whole thing very customizable and modular, but still easy to understand- the attachments are well designed, with the brush attaching to the tube attachment, and they store nicely on the main body- i wasn’t totally sold on the lift off feature, but i think it’s totally awesome after using it. i can get all sorts of new places- the lights on the front are incredibly bright and more useful than i thought they would be- the cleaning is super easy, and i appreciate that the filters can be reused and don’t create unnecessary waste/have to be ordered- it totally gets pet hair out of the carpet as promised- the tube is super flexible, and i love that you can use both the handle/wand as well as the tube on its ownThings that are not pros or cons:- the vacuum steers pretty well, but can be a little unpredictable to control. there is definitely a learning curve- you have to reach inside the dirt chamber to clean part of the dirt chamber setup, which is probably standard, but is a little gross- vacuum is not super loud, but definitely noisy. pretty standard- attaching the lift off feature back to the base has a bit of a learning curve, more so than the other attachments- there is no lever to take the vacuum out of the upright position. i find this a bit stressful, as i feel like i’m going to break something.- I wouldn’t say the vacuum itself is absurdly heavy or unwieldy when used as a standard vacuum. it’s not as light as a stick vacuum, but i’ve certainly used heavierCons:- the lift off feature is quite heavy. not great for people who are older or have mobility issues. i cannot imagine holding it while vacuuming blinds as is shown in the ads, and find myself usually setting it on a table/the ground- the reach of the lift off tube could definitely be longer- unlike other bissel vacuums, the cord does not wind back into the main body of the vacuum. i find it to be quite unwieldy, as it is very long. the extra reach is nice, but the cord is constantly in the way- i also find that the cord is hard to wrap, as it’s very thick and heavy- while the tank appears large, i find that it fills up quite quickly to the “full” line and needs to be emptied pretty often- the vacuum struggles to remove human hair from the carpet, and you will have to “scrub” the carpet with the brush attachment to get it out- the little brush attachment gets dirty really quickly, and you have to pull hair and lint off of it. also probably pretty standard, but it’s pretty icky.- the pet hair attachment can be a little difficult to use, especially when attached to the wand. and i don’t find myself using it over the normal brush attachmentSo that’s my review! Would I recommend this product? Absolutely, if you’re looking at mid range vacuums. It does what is promised, and as long as the cons don’t outweigh the pros, I would say go for it! I had a blast using this vacuum and will continue to have a blast using it until I can justify spending $500+ on a vacuum.

Great vacuum, hair can still get tangled
I've had this vacuum for about 2 years now so I have used it plenty of times. First, this vacuum is fantastic for picking up dirt, dust, and most everything you would expect a vacuum to pick up. As a first test, I vacuumed my living room with my previous vacuum and then used this Bissell second. The Bissell picked up SO MUCH that the previous vacuum left behind. I then did the test in reverse in a different area, and there was almost nothing for my previous vacuum to grab. Its easy to operate and runs smoothly, and I like all the different settings and attachments you can switch between. Overall, I recommend this Bissell if you're looking for a great vacuum at a reasonable price. There are two reasons why I can't give full 5 stars. One, hair does still get tangled up despite the claim that its tangle free. I typically have to spend time removing the hair out of the brush roll after each use. This can be done by pulling hair out while rotating the brush roll, or you can spend extra time to remove the access plate and pull the brush roll out, which can make getting the hair off much easier. Two, the little hooks that you wrap the power cord around when the vacuum is not in use, the top one kept turning and falling off. There is no way to click it or lock it in, so bumping it in the wrong way might cause it to turn or fall out, and then there goes your neatly wrapped cord. This might have been a feature designed to allow someone to unwrap the cord in a second, but I found it to be more trouble because of how easily it pops out. I ended up taping it to the vacuum so it no longer turns or falls out.
