I will try to update as I go along with this pen, but thus far it receives a 5 star from me. But then I only received it last night, so time will tell.I am 70 years old, and most of my friends think I am WAY to old to be playing with something like this. But then most of my friends spend hours complaining about how bored they are and there's just nothing to do. They aren't active and many of them sleep most of their life away or just vegetate in front of the TV.One person said to me, why would you want to make stupid little plastic things that you can't do anything with???But you know what, at other times my friends will say, "I wish I was like you", or "you are so active and are interested in so many things", etc and etc.Well, what the heck, I wanted to "play" with this new little gadget. After all, I grew up learning to type on a manual typewriter and washing clothes in a wringer washer and hanging them on the line to dry. Who would have ever thought someday I would be drawing 3D with a pen and some plastic!!Now, I am NOT an artist in any way. I love creating things, but I have to have videos, books, etc to help me. I've never taken an art lesson, so if I can do something with this pen, just think what the young (and old) artists or budding arts can do!The pen, thus far has worked flawlessly, but again, I only received it last night. Still, I have drawn 11 small stencils to start off with to practice just holding the pen, etc. Then I took one of my colors and tried my first 3D item, a tree, LOL. I have attached a picture. This tree was done with one roll of filament. I had ordered the package (here on Amazon) that contains 26 colors.I'm having fun and I'm not wanting to sleep or vegetate in front of TV, I'm playing and loving life!!!ETA: I just added another picture of a black tree with some oak leaf stencils below it. I'm on my 4th day and I've been using this pen for hours and really enjoying!! Will continue to update.ETA: OK, I got my first Jam. Upon watching YouTube videos I figured out how to unjam the pen. However, getting the nozzle off was impossible. I tried everything to push in the two buttons and pull the nozzle off and I couldn't do it. Then I unscrewed the cover where the feeding tube is and couldn't remove that either. Very disappointed, had such high hopes for this. I'm returning it and going to search around for a pen that might be easier to unjam because from what I read, and I've read a lot, jamming is almost a given for these pens.

Loads of fun. High quality!
The Scribbler V3 is a huge hit with my 10 year old daughter. I wondered if the advanced controls on this pen would be an issue, but they have not been. There is plenty of guidance online about the temperature range recommendations that helped, but still it is very user friendly. After 3 days of constant use we have not had a single jam. She has loaded and unloaded filament hundreds of times too. Bouncing from gold to pink and then to clear, etc. The tip does get hot but it is easy to avoid and very small. We have only had this product for several days, but I am very pleased. I would recommend this 3d pen to anyone looking at them. There are a lot to choose from and that can be intimidating.

Great Pen, I love it!
I absolutely love this pen, I play with it whenever I have the opportunity, its pretty hard to follow the stencils and actually BUILD anything right off the bat, but through practice you get the hang off it. One complaint is that it does come with plastic to start you off, however, no where on the package or in the directions does it say if it is PLA or ABS, which is odd because it says clearly in the instructions to make sure that you have it on the correct setting according to the plastic you are using. Also it doesn't tell you what to set the temperature at, but it is easy to just adjust the temperature and figure out what works best.

Scribbler 3D Pen V3
Bought the Scribbler 3D Pen V3 for our grandson's 10th birthday. My husband & I could hardly keep ourselves from playing with it until then. He received it today and loves it. He's already asking for more filament colors. It is a little confusing as to exactly which filament refills to purchase because some of the ones suggested on Amazon say that they do not work on the V3. Read everything carefully. It is my understanding that the PLA is environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and has little to no odor when in use. Therefore, this is the filament we will be sticking with in the future.Happy creating!

It's cool, but....
Have a mini screwdriver handy. Ordered one and it jammed within a couple of days. Ordered a replacement and we have come to realize that is just how it's going to be. This one clogged in two separate places but, with YouTube video help, you can fix it yourself. Frankly, it's a bit steep for the price when take that into consideration.

Amazon's service was great, but I'm not so sure about the pen
The first one we received broke within the first few weeks...the prong of the charging/plug-in cord broke off and got stuck in the port. We returned it within 30 days to Amazon and they quickly shipped a new one. Amazon's service was great, but I'm not so sure about the pen. Now my daughter has lost interest, and it was expensive!

" although I didn't know you could space it out so it looked like the Penis is mightersword
Made a cup, filled it with hot coffee in it and burned my nads because it leaked out. Warning : if you aren't skilled at making cups and putting hot coffee in it .. it may burn you. I did make a sign that said the " Pen_is_mighter- than the sword." although I didn't know you could space it out so it looked like the Penis is mightersword... so I need to work on my skillz.Cool pen .. could be used as a shank too I suppose.

Hope you have better luck than me...
Plugged up after 20 minutes of use. Tried to remove nozzle carefully but one of the tiny soldered wires broke as the nozzle is hard to remove (took 2 of us to push release tabs far enough to pull it off). Now it is out of commission. Was birthday present for son and now he gets to wait for purchased replacement nozzles to arrive and hope it doesn't seize up again. We used filament supplied with pen and followed all operating instructions very carefully. Disappointed!!
