This was used on a large carpet that was constantly walked on and did show signs of slight movementbut in general was 95 percent successful

Not great for heavy rugs, ok for light ones, and tends to curl up. If ordering, purchase full size, if its too small it will have minimal effect. Note: i had carpet underneath so cant review for rug to wood etc

Put this on my rug in the hallway which is hardwood flooring. Works a treat the May hasn’t slipped once. Also put it under the cutlery tray to stop it from sliding about in the drawer.
