To get the absolute most out of the scanner you will need to email the seller and ask for the barcode manual. You get a few basic set-up codes with the scanner, but the seller can forward a larger 20-page book. The additional codes will allow you to read the firmware, battery level, set the sleep timer and program suffix and prefix characters to the scanned barcode. It is relatively simple. You scan a code to start the programming mode, scan the hex code equivalents of the characters you need (in the book) and lastly another code to set it. I set a white space at the end of my scan, but at the moment I haven’t figured out how to remove the carriage return which seems to be automatically added.The scanner comes with an easy to assemble, bendable, goose neck stand. The scanner sits safely in a cradle, but if the goose neck is too upright it tends to drop out. The wireless dongle is stowed into the foot of the scanner and simply plugs into a USB port. A few seconds later (at least on Win 10) the scanner is ready to go with no installation software required.The scanner comes with a small booklet with a few barcodes that you scan to alter functionality. For example, there is a barcode that puts the scanner into remote mode to scan and store codes whilst out of range of the dongle. When you get back, they can be dumped out with a carriage return between each one. As mentioned above, the sellers booklet gets you more functions.Battery life is good and there is a built in LED light to aid with scanning in dark places. I use it at my work place for scanning barcoded serial numbers. It handles most of them, but struggles a little with white on black background (as do most). It scan QR and matrix codes easily but success drops off when the code becomes a very small square.Bottom line: it is a very good scanner that can handle most day to day codes.EDIT: Have had to contact customer services on a few occasions for help setting up program codes - they have responded quickly with assistance every time

A barcode scanner had died and I was sharing one between two stations; I needed something that would plug in and work immediately. The NetumScan did the job required. I did read the manual, but only after the days work. As I wave the scanner over items, the rather average stand is not a problem. I am happy with my purchase.

This can be used wired via the usb cable or wireless via the supplied usb receiver.It was instantly recognised as a new keyboard by my Mac, no drivers were required and I could start scanning straight away.It has a while led that comes on with the laser when you press the trigger to illuminate the area to be scanned.I use it with Word and Pages as well as with some industry specific software you don't need to know about.I like how the manual has several functions that can quickly be changed with a scan of a specific barcode printed in the manual.The scanner can be used while it is in its desktop stand (some assembly required) as well as handheld.

For the average home user, a scanner like this would probably have no practical use except as a novelty item. However, as you are reading this perhaps you do have such a need. In that case, I will give you my opinion on this scanner.Unlike some hand scanner, this one is a 2D device meaning it can understand two-dimensional codes such as QR codes. Of course, it will still work with 1D codes as well and has a long list of compatible barcodes. It’s as simple as point and click to read a code. The scanner will convert that data and present it to your computer as if you typed it yourself. Basically, it pretends to be a keyboard. This makes it work without special software.If, for example, you want to access the website given in a QR code. Open your browser, click within the URL bar and then point the scanner at the QR code and the web address will appear in the browser. So simple.This scanner can operate via a USB connection or wirelessly via a USB dongle. The unit has a built-in battery which gets charged when connected via a USB cable. If you want to scan many barcodes then the unit can be put into the offline mode where it will store all the barcodes in its internal memory and can then be dumped at a later stage.The manual included with the device is not very good. It’s too vague in areas where you really need help. Configuring the device is done by scanning special barcodes printed in the manual. Setting it replicate a UK keyboard, for instance, is done by simply scanning the related barcode. However, there are many useful configuration barcodes that are missing from the manual.One such configuration is to set the scanner into a continuous scan mode which is why you’d want to use the supplied stand. This code is missing! However, I have found a manual online that covers all these codes. It’s not for this particular model but all the codes work fine. Look inside the included manual and at the end of the manual, there is an email address. Use the domain name part in your browser and you will be taken to the Netum website. Search for the ‘C750 Full Manual’. It’s a PDF and all the codes are in it. The only irreverent part is the Bluetooth function that’s not available on this model.Overall, a great code scanner but let down by its manual. Hope that helps.

I am in the process of installing an Order Management System at work to process online orders. I already have a couple of wired Barcode Scanners, but was keen to try this wireless one.The quality is very good, and the scanner is well-weighted. It comes with a decent stand and is already charged straight out fo the box. The USB adapter is stored in the base of the handle, you simply plug it into a Windows 10 PC, wait for 5 to 10 second and BOOM it's ready to go.For a standard barcode you have to be approx 4 to 6inches away for it to scan (which is relatively close) but it does work a treat! Charges with a USB cable, which means you can use it while it is charging as well.I really cannot knock it, a very decent wireless barcode scanner!

Ho acquistato questo dispositivo come secondo lettore per i giornali, ho contattato l'assistenza che ha provveduto ad inviarmi un codice a barre per l'abilitazione a tale tipo di prodotto.Funziona bene per il prezzo che ha, certo non sempre prende il codice al primo colpo (ma solo con uno specifico programma). Forse fa un po' fatica quando si tratta di codici su sacchettini o con sopra la plastica ma è più che giustificabile. Lo consiglio assolutamente.

Da ich sehr viele Sachen per Post verschicke und immer die Sendungsnummern dem Empfänger schicken muss, hab ich mir den Barcode Scanner gekauft. Es war sehr mühsam die Sendungsnummern immer zu schreiben,... mit dem Scanner geht das innerhalb von einer Sekunde.Die Anleitung ist übersichtlich, auf der Herstellerwebseite gibt es zusätzliche Informationen, wenn man die braucht.Was super ist und die paar Euro mehr wert ist, ist das kabellose arbeiten. Kein Kabel,...nur den Empfänger am PC in den USB einstecken und schon kann man scannen. Die Halterung ist nicht die beste, reicht aber um den Scanner abzulegen bis zum nächsten mal. Man muss sich auch keine Sorgen wegen dem absschalten machen, das passiert automatisch.Akku hält auch sehr lange. Wurde vor 1 Monat geladen und bis jetzt geht er immernoch.Bis jetzt bin ich sehr zufrieden und bereue es nicht, den Scanner gekauft zu haben.

Comprata per utilizzarla nel negozio, ottime prestazioni, veloce e perfetta nella modalità wifi, modalità sempre attiva non molto comoda la batteria si scarica velocemente. Materiale buono, rinforzate nelle parti in appoggiò, preso con il cavalletto.
