I sprained my thumb, quite badly, 6 weeks ago. Each day I put injure heal balm, then gauze, then a metal splint, then this self-adhesive wrap. If you have to wrap your hand, it is fun to coordinate with your outfit!

Good !Petco has these wider wraps for animals ,but you can use them on humans ,but their expensive for just one,$8.99 for one and adds upSo,buying these 12 wraps and nice colors ,even though their half the size but easier to work with in wrapping someone's wounds,after guaze is out on first.

This vet wrap is the perfect solution to bandaging fragile elderly skin. It adheres the gauze pad without fear of harming the skin.

The material is not as thick as I thought but durable if you are carful with taking it off you could probably use it twice

This is better than adhesive tape, but kind of hard to put on with one hand, e.g., if trying to hold a piece of gauze on the other arm. One hand isn't enough to hold the gauze and piece of wrap over the gauze and also to stretch and apply the loose wrap. But it does do the trick.

As with most health/sports products (not generic drugs, but things where the construction matters), it doesn't measure up to any of the name brands -- it's not quite as elastic or sticky. That said, getting this many rolls for the price is excellent, and they perform well enough that it's totally worth it.
