So the pro of this hair removing wax is that it does, actually, remove hair. However, you wouldn't know this because you're so sticky by the time you finish using it that your hair, your spouse's hair, the dog's hair, the cat's hair even the emu's feathers (who knows, you might have an emu) is all stuck to the place where you just waxed. So you try that little bottle of oil they give you, that you're not 100% convinced isn't actually anti-freeze, because they look the same color. And you end up both oily and sticky. You didn't know that was possible, but it is! Whoo-hoo! Another pro. You've learned something new. Then you take ANOTHER shower but it still doesn't work, so you figure f*ck it, and try rubbing alcohol because that gets the gummy stuff off when you peel a label. By this time, it's been so long since you initially waxed that you've forgotten that you ripped out a whole bunch of hair and sweet Christmas does rubbing alcohol HURT. Plus, this is during Covid-19 and for some reason, rubbing alcohol is harder to find than a Phoenix feather. So you now feel like an idiot for wasting it. Especially seeing it still doesn't get all the wax off.One day, I will be dead and buried. The sun will have evolved into a red giant and swallowed the earth. Maybe then, the wax will finally disappear.

I'm writing this review while under quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic, so all the salons are closed. I don't think I'll ever make another appointment at a waxing salon, I was so impressed with how well this worked. I used this for bikini area waxing, and I cannot believe how effective it was without even hurting. (I will admit, I have a pretty high pain tolerance and I'm used to waxing, so my review of "no pain" is definitely subjective.) It is important to follow the directions for the best result. Spread the wax, then put the wax strip overtop, and then I would gently rub 3-4 times in the direction of the hair growth. Make sure you hold the skin tight with one hand and pull with the other hand. Quick and without hesitation will get you the best results. I did this yesterday, and now the area is a little bit tender, which is expected after waxing. This is the BEST at-home wax you can get, and for a great price. I've used the Sally Hansen hard wax in the past, but I definitely prefer this product. I've paid $60+ in the past to go to a salon to get a Brazilian wax, but I got this product for less than $10, and didn't even use half. I never even write reviews, but I just had to share my positive experience!

I could not remove the inner white seal/ lid. Used pliers, tab broke. Used screwdriver, punctured lid, spent ten minutes cleaning screwdriver. Heated for thirty seconds in wimpy, cheap microwave. Tried to pry off lid with screwdriver again. Got it off a millimeter at a time. Took some time. Lifted lid. Half of the product clung to the white lid from Hades and then plopped onto the hardwood floor. It took three hours to clean floor, another ten to render the screwdriver rehabilitated at 75% or so with an eternally sticky handle, thirty minutes to get the crap off of myself, and there are parts of the house that are dead to me, now. They want me to send it back for a refund. I think I'll let them keep the ten bucks... I've declared anything within ten feet of the trashcan which holds the congealed, hull-sealing remains and its flight-recorder- blackbox style of construction container a disaster recovery zone. The hardwood floor looked fine but I could not step there. The dog avoids it. The cat managed to get her paw-fur stuck to it. She was quite displeased. I had to snip her free. It is now as though part of the floor has grown hair. This was not the experience I was hoping for.I had to wait fifteen hours to write this review, I was so angry. That and I felt the cat might seek retribution upon my person, so I have declined to sleep until her memory fades a bit...

I believe this is a counterfeit product. I would not recommend buying this again. The all-body wax from sally Hansen is a creamy, white wax and the product I received was yellow/clear-ish wax. When I tried to use it (assuming it was a different formulation) it didn’t work at all. The wax didn’t remove any hair.

I'm not sure why this is getting bad reviews, this product worked great for me. I use this solely for bikini waxing and I am able to remove hair from everywhere down there. I got about 4-5 waxes out of this; it beats paying $45 a session at a salon. Some tips, work quickly and in small areas. Like other users, I did have to reheat the wax multiple times. As long as the wax is hot and you pull against the direction of growth, I experienced little pain and lost zero skin. Make sure you apply the wax with the direction of growth and spread the wax only 1-2 times before applying the paper (once is optimal so you can work quickly). I cut the wax papers in half and used each side before discarding (when using other side, I used a tissue to pat down so my hands didn't get sticky). This really made the product last and I felt as though I got my monies worth. My only complaint is that the oil left a stinging sensation after application. I wish this oil was similar to the ones that leave a nice cooling feeling. I just started waxing on my own and this product has made it easy for me.

This wax is so good I have used so many different waxes but this brand is so good not much tweezing needed with it either

Pros:-Simply the best wax at removing short hair. Other waxes including wax strips, hard wax and honey wax won't do crap. Trust me, I have bought more wax products than most people.Cons:-It's messy if you don't know how to use it coz the wax isn't water soluble, so you need to be VERY careful.-Can't be used as nose wax.

I've been using this for my eyebrows and underarms for years... 13 years to be exact. I will never use another product as long as this one is available. Highly recommended.

I used to use Nads wax until they changes the formula, then tried a few other products (nair, veet, sugars etc), they worked ok, but I found they took some getting used to and were just too time consuming. This wax is great because its almost always a one and done. Heat it up, dry and powder the skin, apply a thin layer of wax, apply strip, rip! It also comes with azulene oil for easy clean up. The only down side I found was there are not enough wax applicators and cloth strips to last the tub (the tub usually lasts me 4 months, waxing 2-3 times monthly, underarms and bikini). So I just order wooden applicators and generic strips separately (they're usually very cheap, under 12 dollars for tons of both). I recommend this for people with all hair types, and I find it super effective for the bikini area and difficult to remove hair.
