She is 16 and decided she was ready to move up from a twin bed to a queen bed. She put it together herself the day it arrived in under an hour and said it was very simple . I loved it because it doesn't require a box spring, only the mattress and that's it! It was a great price and in my budget and it looks great in her room, simple yet elegant at the same time.It includes the headboard, and is a very strong heavy duty black metal frame.It has wood slats to hold the mattress onto the bed. There is also plenty of space underneath for slim storage containers. The bed itself weighs 61 pounds but can support up to 450 pounds. Not that my teenager needs that strong of a bed but why not buy something quality that will grow with her and hold friends when they sleep over. It's a sleek design that can match anyone's bedroom theme as it's modern at the same time as being rustic . This ed is super quite making no noise when moving or sleeping on it. She's happy with the bed !

We have been struggling with this bed frame since it's purchase. We have narrowly missed the return window and would prefer to return it but apparently cannot.This is not a high quality product and it is not suitable for use. There is nothing heavy duty about the construction and the metal on metal design causes constant and annoying squealing sounds upon any use of the bed. The metal is not strong enough to adequately hold the weight of a mattress and child without bending a visibly bowing. Although we were able to easily put the bed together, the overall design is poor. We have attempted to make it work for us by trying to add a carpet beneath the bed, adjusting the screws and adding support. We are completely dissatisfied.We are disappointed in the inability to remedy the situation and would not purchase again from this vendor (because the information is not accurate) or recommend purchase of this product (which is poor quality). Please don't invest in this product.

VERY HARD TO ASSEMBLE. I’m not sure if I was given after market boards, but the top two boards that were given were too long, and/or the holes were not properly drilled to fit the bolts. I had to have someone help me try to bend the framed with the screwdriver, just to fit the wooden slats in. Overall looks decent, just hope when I try to lay in bed tonight I don’t break through the boards lol. I tried to get with seller on issue? And never heard back.

DO NOT BUY!!! To anyone who reads this review please Believe me when I say that this bed is not worth it. If the price is too good to be true then it is. I’ve had this bed for a few months and the support at the bottom of the bed broke within the 1st month and don’t get the idea that Im “ fat “ or even over weight. I’m a 21 year old male that weighs 170 so use your imagination. Then on the 2nd month the back of the bed broke from the screws ( I don’t even jump) and finally on the 3rd month the frame just gave up and the header collapsed ( how is that even possible? Well it is.) just for the love of god buy another frame just not this one

This bed frame is surprisingly sturdy. All slats that go across the bed bolt down and makes this rock solid. No squeaking or noises when moving Around on the bed. Very easy to assemble. Went together in about 30 min. With following the instructions. Great bed

Its a good bed frame if you know how to use a saw and a drill. The slats were not cut correctly to fit. One side would line up with bolt holes but the other side needed to be cut to fit and new holes needed to be drilled. The slats without holes also needed to be cut to fit in frame rail. You need a little skill with cutting and drilling. Not recommended for someone with no tools or skills. Took me about a half hour to put metal parts together an then an hour to get all slats in place correctly and bolted in.

Predrilled slat boards were to long to fit in frame which also caused drilled holes to attach secure bolts to be off too. I’m a general contractor so it wasn’t a big deal for me to cut slats to proper length and redrill holes for securing bolts. Point being for the average person this bed couldn’t be assembled.I would strongly not recommend to buy this bed

It gave a bit of trouble when screwing in the skates but the trick is not to tighten them till the end when u are done.
