Sturdy, Looks Stylish & Fantastic ValueWe looked at a lot of these for our small foyer. The metal construction on this is super sturdy. No wobble when you sit on it. It has a total of 8 hooks. There is a nice shelf on top for stuff or decorations. The bottom is divided into three compartments. I would give this product 5 stars all around if there weren’t a few major flaws to it. One flaw is that it came missing the end caps that the cover the bar ends on the top, without them the item looks incomplete, the other flaw is that the two back bars that hold up the shelf and the wood bars with the hooks are banged up pretty good, there’s missing paint that’s a big area straight down to the bare metal. I did message Amazon Customer Service regarding these issues hoping that I could at least obtain the missing end caps and I got no where. Amazon’s solution was return it for either a refund or a replacement. This normally isn’t an issue for me to return a damaged item but this item is very large and heavy and once it’s assembled and all the bolts are tightened taking it back apart again and trying to pack it into the box would be a huge inconvenience. The item was also offered with free 2 day prime shipping and it took almost a week to get it, it sat in Arizona for almost 3 days after being shipped which to me is ridiculous. So buyer beware

This was very easy to put together. Minimal different types of screws and no nuts made it come together quickly. My three year old also helped. I think the "wood" will scuff a bit over time but it should be easy enough to cover. This would have gotten 5 stars but there is not enough space for shoes. I think a full second rack would have been more useful than the taller spot for boots. We are a family of 3 from the Midwest so we lots of different shoes throughout the week!Overall very sturdy and it looks nice. Definitely better than the command hooks we were using, although my youngest cannot reach his coat hook. It's pretty tall.

I love this little fella! I only used 4 hooks, because I didn't need any more than that. I put little baskets on the shoe shelves for heels/boots & sandals/flats. My Ugg-style boots fit great, and I have a basket to the side for all my winter shoes. The top shelf is sturdy enough for my basket of scarves, all of my hats, and mittens. If you attach it to the wall it'll be more sturdy but I wouldn't lean on it for balance - it's fine to sit on the little bench though!

I looked at many hall trees and most were above $140 for a comparable size. Which I thought was reasonable. At the last minute I chose this industrial/farmhouse style hall tree rather than a solid one, mainly because of the price and thought that the high contrast against my wall would look nice. I received a $5 off coupon making it just under $94. I put this together, by myself, in 1 hour 15 mins. It was a smooth operation. All parts and pieces were there and all fit together perfectly. All fasteners are screwed in with an allen wrench, which is provided. The hall tree is stable (I do not have it anchored to my wall) and the seat is very sturdy and stable to sit on with ample room (I am 5' 3" and weigh 120 pounds). Actually the seat/bench is a little high for me (21" high), so if you are taller than myself, the bench seat will work well for you. The 9 hooks can be fastened on to the boards or left loose. I left them loose for the time being and it is working fine. I especially like the fact that there is room for tall boots. I can easily fit 4 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of boots on the shelves. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I was looking at a few different organizer options but i'm glad I went with this one. Lots of shelving and hooks, looks really nice and maybe took 30 minutes, if that, to put together. I did buy different mounts for the wall than the ones it came with. Definitely a must because it isn't nearly as sturdy without them.
