I offered use products in ways not intended. I use this double-sided tape at a sliding glass door. The door is too old to replace the mohair, which now allows bugs and dust to come in the house. This double-sided tape, when it applied to the threshold, catches spiders and bugs of all kinds that would have entered the house. It also helps clean my dog's paws as they enter the house from the yard. It's not so sticky that when I step on it I feel stuck. It's easy to peel up and then lay down another strip. This is an excellent product for my purposes

Good quality tape, but beware of letting it touch anything you don't want it permanently attached to.

Used this to put plastic over a sunroom window and within two days it stopped holding but left a really sticky residue for me to deal with. It may be an issue with where I used it but I could not recommend it for anywhere there is high sun.

Used this to hem my drapes a week ago and so far it’s worked great.

I bought this tape to secure a cotton cloth covering to a faux-leather recliner. Getting the tape off the roll is tedious and difficult, like packaging tape from the post office. When you do manage to remove a strip of tape, and apply it to the arms of the chair, and press the protective cloth over it, the cloth will not stay in place when the chair is sat in. This is the kind of job the tape was designed for, isn't it? But worst of all, when I removed the cloth covering to prepare for company coming over, I found a sticky residue on the chair's arms. With repeated cleansing using two different upholstery cleaning products, the sticky residue came off. But once removed, there is still a stain on both arms of the chair, where the sticky stuff was, that WILL NOT come off, no matter what upholstery/carpet/general cleaner I tried. Even scraping gently with a flat kitchen knife won't help. It's not sticky residue left behind -- it's a genuine stain, and absolutely nothing will remove it. So instead of protecting this new recliner, I ruined it. This tape fails in every way it possibly could, and it is worse than useless.

Not as good as 3M, but then who can really compete with 3M in anything they make?

Used it to mount large laminated world map on the drywall, worked out nicely. Holds pretty well, also very clean and forgiving it readjusting.

I bought this hoping it would be more substantial that was I use for paper crafts but I'm afraid I feel it works best for paper crafts only.
