Julius-K9IDC Powerharness, Size: L/1, Rainbow

I ordered the 1 after measuring my dog. When it arrived, I was very impressed with the durability and quality but the sizing was off. I have a short, muscular, American Bulldog so she doesn't have normal dog proportions. Her chest is large but her overall length is short. This meant that the harness was too big around the front but perfect elsewhere. So keep that in mind if your dog is between the sizing guide provided, go with the smaller size if you have a bronchial breed in this situation.This being said, when the size 0 arrived, I noticed the quality was not as strong and durable as the size one I returned. While I expected some downsizing (one less torch holder, small velcro strip) I was surprised the thick part of the harness felt much thinner, as though it was missing a layer or two compared to the 1-4 sizes. It still beats every harness out there and I would have probably been fine with it if I hadn't felt the size 1, it is worth noting that they are not the same product and some liberties are taken with construction. I would still recommend you get it if you are looking for a dog friendly, durable harness.

I just received my harness the other day and love it. Its strong and sturdy, Much less pulling from my guy but I guess that all depends on the dog. Easy to get on and easy to get off considering I have a very jumpy pitbull when its time to go out.I didn't have a tape measure to measure my dog so I kinda went of their size chart, the dog that looked like a boxer was about the same size as my 1yr old pitbull. It is adjustable as well, the only issue I had was it did have instructions on the front strap and where to velcro it to lol but it was quite obvious, hook it thru the metal loop and velcro over and whoola good to go. Oh and I love that it glows in the dark as well, it also has a handle on it for better control as well. I was surprised to see how many other people that have large dogs in a group I have recently joined have this very harness for their furbabies too.

My bulldog was having issues with her collar, so we decided to upgrade her to a harness. This harness is so simple, easy, and it just works - no confusing straps to tighten/loosen, nothing for her to catch her legs in while you're putting it on, it's fantastic. Can't recommend it enough - and you can even get custom velcro strips where the "Julius-K9) logo is if you'd like.My only minor con for this harness is that it catches and holds fur like crazy - not a big deal as it does hold it in, but the inside of the harness is basically tan due to all the hair.

I knock it down two stars as first it is a bit pricey but more importantly I think the chest strap design is poor. The chest strap is a single velcro strap but adheres to itself awkwardly in between the dog and the strap which prevents you from making any adjustments without removing the harness from the dog moving it an inch then trying it on again. It would be so simple to reverse the strap, having it adhere to itself on the outside and making it easily adjustable at all times without having to remove it. I emailed the company about this as I first thought it was a production error but they just sent me an illustration of fitment.Positives- well madeCons- expensivepoor chest strap design requires

We have now had this brand harness for 3 dogs. I just recently listed the grass green one in size 0 that I bought here on Mercari. Only because I had to guess on the size before adopting our rescue dog and realized I needed to buy a size down. I just didn't want to pay for or deal with customs forms for return shipping. Highly recommend these.

I own 2 of these harnesses and highly recommend them. I have a very active medium-sized dog, and these strong harnesses help with managing him. They are very secure and the handle across the top is especially good for helping him up into a vehicle. Everyone I meet wants to know where I got the harness, so it is an attention grabber for its quality and uniqueness.They come in a variety of nice colors. Also, the company allows you the option of ordering individualized labels for such things as the dog's name or they offer pre-made personality labels (such as my dog's "cool man").There are additional charges for these labels.They Velcro to the harness on either side of the shoulders. These are not required but are fun to add, if you want that option. Again, I highly recommend this product.

I have a 25lb Blue Heeler puppy. I bought the size 0. It's a tiny bit big on her right now, but she's growing fast. It still works perfectly though. It is extremely easy to put on her. I love that it has a handle on top. I've needed to grab her a few times already, and it's handy for helping her in and out of the car.I did order new patches for the side, because people kept calling her Julius. (Plain reflector strip patches, but they have many to choose from)

I have a rescue dog that had some trachea damage due to being tethered. This is wonderful, sits under the neck and around the chest, so when he pulls there is no pressure on his neck. Also, my dog is quite strong, the handle on the top is great for regaining control. Once those front feet are off the ground, they have much less pulling ability.VERY well made, this will last a lifetime

Wir haben das Geschirr gekauft und in den ersten Wochen nur ab und zu benutzt, d.h. nur bei längeren Ausflügen in Wald Feld und Flur, beim täglichen Gassi gehen haben wir uns auf das Halsband beschränkt. So ist es auch zu erklären, dass wir erst nach ca. 4 Wochen auf einen aus meiner Sicht gravierenden Mangel aufmerksam wurden. Der Bauchgurt hinterließ rote Striemen am Bauch unserer Labradorhündin, dies lag nicht daran das er evtl. zu fest anlag oder gar zu locker war, nein, er war wirklich perfekt am Bauch anliegend. Das Problem ergibt sich aus der Bewegung des Hundes, die Seitenkanten des Bauchgurtes sind nämlich nicht abgerundet und es gibt auch kein Polster für den Bauchgurt. Somit rutscht der Bauchgurt beim laufen mnchmal unter die "Achseln" des Hunden an den Vorderläufen (dies kann man wie gesagt trotz festem Sitz nicht verhindern) und verursacht in den "Achsenhöhlen" starke Rötungen bis hin zu leichten Entzündungen. Auch am Bauch selbst kommt es durch die scharfen Kanten bei Dauerbelastung zu roten Striemen. Der Bauch und die Achseln unserer Hündin waren nach längerem Wanderungen immer rot und folgerichtig wollte Sie das Geschirr irgendwann nicht mehr tragen, sie wollte es sich gar nicht mehr anlegen lassen. Wir hatten dadurch dann noch Tierarztkosten von 42 Euro für eine Untersuchung und eine Salbe zur Linderung. Ich habe dann dem Verkäufer um Rücknahme gebeten, dieser verweigerte diese mit der Begründung wir seien bereits außerhalb der Rückgabefrist von 4 Wochen. Das timmte zwar, aber wie gesagt traten die Probleme nicht sofort bzw. nicht bei kürzeren Anwendungen auf. Ich habe jetzt Abhilfe geschaffen indem ich eGurtschoner mit Klettverschluß bestellt habe und diese Gurtschoner (2 Stück, sich überlappend, eigentlich für Autosicherheitsgurte gedacht) als Polster um den Bauchgurt gezogen habe. Dies hat mich dann weitere 10 Euro gekostet, aber nun ist der Bauchgurt zumindest gut gepolstert und es gibt keine Probleme mehr. Für das Geschirr selbst kann man im übrigen kein passendes Bauchgurtpolster als Zubehör bestellen, man muss schon improvisieren. Zum Einen finde ich, dass man sowas bei Produkttest berücksichtigen und das Geschirr von Haus aus bereits mit einem Gurtpolster bestücken sollte. Zum Anderen denke ich, dass es dem Händler hier deutlich am Servicegedanken mangelt, man hätte auch Kulant sein können indem man der Rückgabe zustimmt. Insgesamt hatte ich folgende Kosten: 24,95 für das geschirr in Größe 2, 10 Euro für die zugekauften Gurtschoner und 42 Euro Tierarzt. Somit habe ich hier ein echtes "Schnäppchen" gemacht und das Geschirr hat bis jetzt 76,95€ an Kosten verursacht. Nun wird sicher nicht jeder zum Tierazt müssen, weil er es vielleicht auch fürher entdeckt, aber nach eine 2 stündigen Wanderung haben wir dann erst gesehen wie extrem die Folgen waren und es musste einfach behandelt werden. Daher leider nur 1 Stern für ein sonst recht ordentliches Produkt, aber wenn ein Produkt die Gesundheit des Tieres beeinträchtigt und Schmerzen verursacht dann kann ich leider hier nicht mehr als 1 Stern geben.

The hound seems to approve as it’s the first harness she’s never wrecked and chewed up out of rebellion.I also love it as has a nice style to it and I like the colour.The main thing is it seems to fit securely and I feel comfortable of controlling my dog when walking.She sometimes goes for squirrels without hesitation And when she jolts she pulls very hard. This harness hasn’t failed me so far and I’ve owned it now for some considerable time.5*s well worth the money.Also has high visibility reflective features for hours of darkness.

Tried a couple of different branded harmesss such as the Barbour one and the Ancol one, my dog could manage to wriggle out of both of them so I decided to try the julius.I now own 3. They are the best harness I have ever used and the reason I have 3 is that I have them in different colours. I do however recommend that the 'Y' bar is purchased for extra sturdyness. My dog can be a bit of a wriggler and although he's small if he sees a squirrel he wants to be off and the julius gives me the security I need and trust. It fits perfectly and is easy to adjust if needs be. Don't waste time and money on other brands Go straight to julius!

Fits him perfectly, arrived in perfect condition from the amazon warehouse with next day delivery from prime.Julius k9 is a trusted brand and one that's proven to be worth its cost price over time. I've definitely learnt from experience that cheaper harnesses and dog items can rapidly become a false economy. Even so, this was substantially cheaper than buying direct from julius k9 and even at the amazon list price it would have been a decent buy at 25% less than I saw julius k9 selling them for in crufts this year.

My dog is a Malamute/GSD X and is a big boy. Bought this as a sturdy harness - which it is! However, the design restricts shoulder movement so lost its value for my dog as he was unable to get into the car when wearing it.Discussed harnesses with my dog's physiotherapist and she does not endorse these harnesses for precisely the reasons I encountered.The design needs tweaking so it does not impair movement

So so pleased with this. I have finally found my French bulldog a harness that suits him! Previous harness have ticked some boxes but not all, caused pulling, escapes, sores - it feels like it’s been a never ending search for one that ticks all boxes....happy to confirm that search is over! Suits him down to the ground! Hooray!

Brilliant,I ordered size 3 as I have a bigger than normal golden retriever who has little legs but a huge chest! Size 3 is perfect I've tried many in past all to small but this one is made brilliantly I have control back of my big boy who likes to charge at dogs he's brilliant off lead but on lead likes to think he's top dog.He doesn't mind this on one bit and he is usually very fussy.I love it that much I'm ordering 2 more for my orher 2 golden retrievers. 5stars definitely!

Got this for my spaniel puppy, when I first tried to put it on him it wasn't clear what to do with the chest strap as they're wasn't any instructions included. It is a bit big for him but I always pull the chest strap tight all the way round and it hasn't come lose (despite his pulling). Easy to clean and doesn't seem to hinder him when he's out running.

I really do love this harness, I've tried a few for my pug which havent been great, this one however ticks all the boxes. Its comfortable easy to pop on and take off as well as being secure and very safe. Would highly recommend this harness to anyone and I will definitely purchase again

You can't beat Julius K9 harnesses for all dog breeds. I have 3 Siberian Huskies and have been using these harnesses for the past 7 years with no complaint. Recommend for big strong dogs.

Although I measured my boy at least four times, it still came down to him being on the cusp — between Baby 1 and Baby 2. I went w Baby 1 based on his weight of only 6lbs. However the belt below was too tight for comfort. Sadly had to return.I fear the size up will be too heavy for him. Disappointed as looks top quality.

Good quality harness and it was fitting my chihuahua puppy from very young and now a few weeks older, growing into the harness well.Advice: Leave a bit of room for the head passage, as long the chest is gently tight, will not come off and you will not fight to take it off

This is an excellet quality harness. The rainbow pattern is striking and attractive. The lower neck/upper chest strap is velcro so fully adjustable, and once adjusted correctly can be easily slipped over the dogs head, and the torso/stomach clip also attached with ease. The handle on the harness is great especially when trying to get hold of your little rocket dog in the park. It velcroes down so as to minimise the possibility of the dog getting caught on hedges etc. The D ring for the lead is strong. I love the glow in the dark interchangeable patches on the side of the harness, which provide a cool look and some extra visibility in the dark. (Although do not rely on this to spot your dog in a dark field or poorly lit area, as the glowing is not extremely bright). No issues at hall with this harness - if adjusted correctly, it is very difficult for the dog to escape from it. Just make sure the neck strap isnt too loose.

I don't usually make the effort to leave a review but for this harness I had to! It is absolutely excellent so easy to fit secure & comfortable. I bought a size 3 for our large greyhound who is reactive to small dogs so helps gives us more control. Highly recommend 👍
